Is the Ligue 1 on the rise? I mean despite Lille's loss, PSG and Montpellier did expectingly well in Champions League this round. Arsenal's Diaby is healthy again. Despite his mistake at the back, he was such a difference in the game today!

Man... Arsenal should have tied 2-2 (just by highlights didn't get to catch the game) didn't think either were penalties but damn two chances withing 12 yards and no pressure and one goes wide and one right to the keeper... think arsenal got lucky not to draw. but great goals for Arsenal clinical finish and great positioning

Funny how some of you are saying Arsenal's defence was sloppy,shaky etc? We conceded due to a pelanty, not from a setpiece or open play. Also the reason Montpellier had so many opportunities was because the midfield was already out of steam, if not Arteta & Cazorla would've been pressing around much faster. Bould should have made the changes earlier, Walcott's pace could have exploited the highline Montpellier were playing in the 2nd half, which would have alleviated the pressure on Arsenal.

There is a logical flaw in your argument. Midfield out of steam= Vulnerable defence= 'sloppy, shaky' defence. You contradicted myself. Anyway I was pretty disappointed with 2nd half.

People keep blaming the defence but it was the mid that tired and failed to keep possession and put the defence under constant pressure. Bould should have freshened the side way earlier, I think. It was kinda silly seeing Walcott come on at the end of the game. I was thinking that we could use his speed and catch them on he counter.
