Michael Owen is going to be great at Manchester United .. I think he is going to be just like Solskjaer
Dont see how people could be angry with this signing, i mean with a pay as you play contract we have nothing to loose, great work by fergie imo
I was a bit surprised by the Owen move but I'm with Fergie.. form (and injuries) are temporary, class is permanent. Michael Owen will always score goals. Hope he gets a hat-trick against Liverpool!
i continue to love united for reasons like this, smart decisions, owen and obertan are both great moves, instead of being a club like madrid that buys up all the top players, they develop young players or give older players a chance to recapture their grace, besides this they always seem to have all my favorite players on their roster especially now since ronaldo has left
I think Owen will be United’s answer to Solskjaer!! ..I dont see him playing as a full time striker yet I see him coming off the bench at crucial moments and scoring some decisive goals ..excellent signing in my opinion considering all the big names are flying to Madrid!!
Got to say, I'm very excited to see Owen play for us. He's going to bag a hat-trick at Anfield right in front of the Flop.
After all the injuries and considering the money Owen has squeezed out of Newcastle he should have offered to stay there and get them back in the Premiership. That's what Buffon, Del Piero and Chiellini did at Juventus and they never lost their place in the national side. Shame on you Owen, you clearly don't understand that Manchester/Liverpool rivalry goes back to the Ship Canal days. I hope this Mercenary spends all season on the bench and doesn't go to the World Cup
