I'm Mexican and all but damn if we could barely win against Chile how do they plan on beating Argentina? or England? our forwards need to step it up
well we usually step up our game against big teams, hey we've beaten italy and france and brazil many times, what we need is to start playing more in europe and face more teams over there.
alexis sanchez who ?
Mexico is gradually becoming a force to recon with in football.

Honestly despite Chile' lost against Spain and now Mexico, i really do think they have a tremendous team and could do so much. Even deserve so much considering how young the core of the team is.
Mexicans are so high up their own ass that when people make a realistic comment on their games, about the futbol that they have always played (mediocre at best...) they by default call it hating... LMAO...
Manitos no one is saying that you have the worst team in the world you just got to accept the reality that is not the best either...
+1
I don't believe we're the best team in the world, that's crazy talk, but we're certainly not mediocre. In my opinion, we're currently somewhere within the top 15. Nowhere near the top 10 though. Strictly within the Americas , I would put us only behind Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. Chile and Mexico are pretty even but anybody else is below us.

A realistic comment? Every time someone makes a "Realistic Comment" We end up proving them Wrong. About this game, both teams started with a B team. So, either team could have won this game.
"Mexico will go far in the next world cup but they need some luck with the draws and avoid big teams early on in the tournament." it's a realistic comment... it is unrealistic that mexico would win a world cup or get very far having teams like brasil or netherlands in the group stage... so why do you people get offended when someone points this out... by the way I would love for conmebol and concacaf to merge already. to see if mexico is within the first 5 teams... hahahaha... imposible.
+1
Impossible is Nothing! xD I would not mind if Concacaf were to merge with conmebol actually, i think it would help Mexico grow much faster. And if it were to happen i would love to see Colombia try to make it to the top 5 teams. Now that would be impossible.
Lol u seem so pressed Cali86..how do you know Mexico won't reach anything?.. Mexico is better than most conmebol teams and they've proven that in past copa america's..we know we aren't the best NT in the world but I wouldn't consider us to be at the level of say Bolivia or panama
Dragonknight,Lovelyeli and Speedyuhh just ignore Cali86, it's ALWAYS the same thing with South American supporters ,even tho Mexico has a very good record against South American teams,@Dragonknight your right i dont think anybody would mind all i ever see on YouTube is comments saying that Mexico should be playing in the conmebol
@Alexx1 Right..
I would love to play against CONMEBOL teams. I invite you to go check out the record between Mexico and ANY South American nation, and you will see Mexico has a winning record against ALL nations except Argentina. We even have a winning record against Brazil and Uruguay. You really don't think we could qualify? Every Copa America that we play with our senior squad we always do great. Even last Copa America in which we played with mostly U-20 and a few U-22 players we tied against Colombia's first team, beat Ecuador's first team, and lost by a goal against Uruguay, Peru, and Chile.....all with a U-20 squad that's just sad for South American teams really... So perhaps the ones that need to get off of their high horse is you guys. You need to realize it's not 1960s anymore. Mexico have won two U-17 World cups in 6 years, and a 3rd place in the U-20. We are a rising soccer nation, and if it hadn't been because of drawing against Argentina in the 2010 and 2006 World Cup we probably would have made it further. Colombians think they are so much better for playing in South America, but you're not up to the level of Brazil, Argentina, or even Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. In fact look up your own history, you think CONCACAF is so easy, yet Honduras beat you a few years ago.

1st off the only high up thing we are on is your mom :p
2nd nobody said that we are the best team out there like @Danmx said but we are in the top 15 bro
3rd nobody asked what your opinion was your just mad because unlike Colombia Mexico is getting somewhere and we beat/tied all of the teams you guys have played against and lost or tied with our A TEAM not sub-22 or some other dudes and last time we played against you guys we WON so STFU paranoid little boy
4th COLOMBIA SUCKS MAJOR ASS BUT HAVE GOOD PLAYERS BUT THEY................................SUCK ASS

@Migz8 you don't need to go down to his level and curse, it's not classy my friend. It's not the right way, prove him wrong with soccer arguments :) Keep it classy my friends
This was pretty cool these two teams playing, would have being nice if Chile got a goal for there fans, but Mexico got a really nice one, but ya good stuff
This Mexican team looks promising.
Lol so many Mexico haters!
Mexico and Chile played at a similar level the whole match. Chile with a mixed starter/sub team, and Mexico with an entire back up team for the first 70 minutes. Stop hating

well taken free-kick by Andres Guardado, bring on Uruguay and Peru next
Mexico will go far in the next world cup but they need some luck with the draws and avoid big teams early on in the tournament.

I think they have the potential to do well. But they need their startes to stay healthy.
+1
We don't need any luck..if we want to get far we need to beat the big teams and have some confidence and believe that we can get to the quarter finals at least
+1
yup yup to be the best you gotta play the best and beat them
Goal of the Week - Mexico
