for those spanish motherf..chamberlain was youngest goalscorer in champions league..where the hell is muniain???
Muniain is gonna be a nightmare for a lot of people like you.

:(
To those who think that EPL is better than La Liga,

Wrong! I'm not going to say that La Liga is better then the English league but those who veneer the English League need to take the blinders off your eyes. How is it that the team that currently sits in 7th place in Spain goes into Red Hell that is Old Trafford and almost systematically dismember the home team from the first minute to the last. Granted one of the goals was clearly offsides, but the majority of that game saw the Red Devils thoroughly outplayed by the Spanish side. How can we make the argument that the ENGLISH premier league, that barely maintains 33% players actually from England, is truly a good league. Surely its not the teams, especially this season where we've seen Manchester City, Manchester United, and most recently Arsenal being removed from Champions League. To let everyone know were not talking about Blackburn or Wigan, some low-level English teams, where talking about the Manchester teams, and Arsenal, the teams that sit at the top of the so called "best league in the world." MAybe this season is a fluke, perhaps next season the English teams will start winning again. For now ill leave you with this, in the past 12 years, Spain has taken home 5 Champions league titles, England 2; in the same time Spain has taken home 4 Europa League Titles, England 1. These are competitions that have the best teams in Europe in them, where has England been?

...and yet you are still basing your argument off of one game. Stats on paper can go out the window more often than not...

Also you're an idiot for calling Blackburn a low-level team. Who won the 1994-95 Premiership trophy? Go ahead and look that one up if you come back to this page.
Low level, meaning that they are going to be relegated. That was 1994, can you tell me that the team that sits 16th, conceded the 4th most goals this season and a team that has only won 1 cup since 2000 is not a low-level team? If you want me mention more games where English teams struggled in Europe then look at Manchester City's performance or Arsenal recently. English league dominance in Europe is in the past. Tottenham's performance in Europe. Stoke's defeat in England to Valencia. Birmingham in Europe. Chelsea barely escaping defeat to Napoli.

*2002 League Cup I think or 2003.
Why does a greater number of titles make the Spanish League better? The EPL is better because it is not dictated by two powerhouses. In fact there's almost a 'big seven' which recently evolved from a 'big four', all of whom are challenging for the title, let alone champions league spots. That kind of competition is what makes a league more exciting than another. The ability of the top two Spanish teams may be greater than the top seven English teams, but I'd much rather watch the dog-fight between those seven week-in week-out rather than wait around for an occasional El Classico.
@Tomiswedd Really??

The difference between the EPL and la liga is money, and it's marketing. Apart from that if you put Real Madrid and Barcelona in the EPL it would be a 2 horse race as well, they are the best teams in the world. But if you play against Atletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Levante, Malaga or Sevilla to name a few, they would smash any EPL team as how they've been demonstrating.

Accept it! You will feel better.

Advice: Watch any La Liga game other than Clasicos. You'll watch a better football there, competitive with quality and skills than in the EPL.
Rooney ist rocknroll. LOL is it german?
did i hear someone say EPL is better than LA LIGA? there is a reality check. if real Madrid and Barcelona were transferred to any league they would dominate the top two slots and leaving the rest to fight for the other available positions. i'm not hating but ,barcelona(although i hate to say this) and real madrid are simply to strong for any league. if bilbao, a team that we thrash season after season home and away can do this at old trafford: all EPL fans should be my guests when real madrid come calling. one more thing manchester fans. I wish you all the best at SAN 'freakin' MAMES
http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/real-madrid/manchester-united/11/

...doesn't look like a blow-out to me in the past. What a naive thing to say.
dude you just confirmed 17 goals against 14 or is worldfootball.net wrong. bilbao loses to osasuna but beats manchester. mmmhh
The last game united played against real madrid was over 10-11 years ago. You're comparing ancient history to now..so you're saying the current squad of real madrid can't beat the current squad of manchester united? Really funny.

Evra said that he is embarrassed to play in the European League, after this lose he should feel the taste of the European League and be proud of being there.
+1
I feel sorry for Manchester united because they have to win in San fuc**ng Mamés!!!
That stadium should be banned by the UEFA,it's a real hell.
hell as in fans are too hostile?
This match provides an insight of the difference in standard between La Liga and EPL. Not that I am trying to put Man Utd down but people have to stop expecting them to perform as well as what they are doing in the domestic league. Yes they are very strong but there's always higher mountains out there.
+3
on a possitive note for united... De Gea is looking pretty sharp..

What kind of editing was this?? First two goals weren't shown, then there was 8 minutes of random clips of Athletic Bilbao possession, a few of Bilbao's shots, some more random Athletic Bilbao possession, then two Athletic Bilbao goals, not even showing United's second.

Felt like I was watching an Athletic Bilbao propaganda film.

Don't get me wrong, Bilbao were superior in the game but these highlights were NO representation of what really happened in the game.
What's more ridiculous is Gary Neville's commentating, that guy is biased as hell.
+1
Tareq, you're all turned around. You admit Bilbao were superior in the game and then claim that the highlights, which clearly demonstrate Bilbao's domination, do not represent what really happened.
Otownballer are you blind? Tareq has a point, it's like the video has been edited to show off completely Bilbao's side.. I've seen the match... Where is Manu's runs/goals?
No, I'm not blind. Which Man U runs and goals are you talking about? You speak as if there were lots of them, but did you want the penalty in the 92nd minute or that other one they got that one time?

You can complain about this particular highlight reel if it makes you feel better, or even the absence of key players, but United were well beaten by a sharper side.
Otownballer, I think your'e the one as blind as a bat.
WTF are you on? they were talking about editing of this highlight, not who were more dominants in the match??
Go take some of those pills to get ur head back in straight.

It was a great game and a breath of fresh air for the neutrals. Munain is a great player with a big future but to say there is no one in EPL with such talent is laughable. Wilshere was 18 when he bossed the barcelona midfield.

The fact is that since the "home grown" rule was introduced to the EPL, the clubs' overall level has dipped in order to raise the level of the national team.
Was really looking forward to this game because I felt that Bilbao would do well against Man U after seeing them play Barca earlier this season. Of course most fans in England are brainwashed by EPL marketing & consider La Liga a joke of a league with only 2 good teams while the EPL by far the best league in the world. If this match didn't show just how delusional this notion is I don't know what will. Bilbao were far more impressive than even I thought they'd be. Not only they didn't sit back, but they absolutely bossed this match away at Old Trafford! They simply played Man U off the pitch & how this game ended only 3-2 in their favor I'll never know. De Gea heroically kept Man U from letting in about 7 or 8 & in turn they managed to somehow get 2 in a game which they spent running around chasing shadows. Bilbao, a 5th place team in La Liga absolutely toyed with Man U! And how about their 19-year old midfielder Munain dominating Man U in midfield?! Name me a 19-year old English player who is even in the same stratosphere as this kid in terms of skill, vision, control, passing & finishing ability. I hope for all the fans who truly understand football this match proves that not only La Liga isn't a joke, but in fact, it's the best league in the world. The only reason Barca & Real dominate is because they're THAT good & would be 30 points clear in the EPL too.
+2
Instead of a 19 year, i'll name an 18 year old. Who posses those attributes plus speed and strength. Alex Chamberlain.
+1
Munain is superior to Chamberlain. It isn't even close.
+2
kulprit shiiiiiieeeet. you're claiming chamberlain to be hotter than muniain. chamberlain would never make a starting lineup in any laliga team. can chamberlain do what muniain did at old trafford. making rafael look like a PES player controlled by a 7 year old kid
+2
Err... yes he can. He did it against United infact.
If muniain played for england he would be their best player rofl, to get into our national squad there's a lot of competition...

And chamberlain played well against Milan but he can't outshine muniain.
Even though that second goal was offside it was still just beautiful... I was just shocked when he did that little lift... and then the finish...
+2
Wow this team has good future (AB) looks like another barcelona is on the rise, perhaps not as good but very good prospects.

This is further proof that the English system doesn't work well in Europe. If English teams want to go anywhere then it has to be the pass and move way! The only problem is the lack of regulation by the FA. The way that smaller teams have different size pitches to make wing play difficult or different length and thickness of grass to make passing the ball difficult, makes English success in Europe unlikely!
+1
Different length of grass??? Seriously?
+4
Thickness of grass!!! LoL

hahhahahahaha thickness of grass, thank you for making me laugh so hard.. i needed that
