Sunderland deserved to have a win. they play excellent and to have an out of shape referee didnt help either. man u played horribly their touches where of those of my 10 year old brothers team.

As a Manchester United fan, I wonder if Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Ben Foster will be an adequate replacement for Van Der Sar. I only bring it up because it seems his inadequacies in a few crucial games at the start of the season have had a negative effect.

Rubish from United, this coming from a United fan. Glimt of skill from Berbatov, i wouldn't call it luck, he is known to do things of this skill level, and is always looking for neat touches. Foster rubish as always, and i hope the rumours that Ferguson ripped him a new one are true. He deserves it. Pretty good Sunderland game

Can't really say anything about Tomasz Kuszczak. They both did well for the reserve. But it did not turn out good for Foster.

A fine goal from Darren "I'm finally getting a chance to shine" Bent but what audasity from Dimitar ha ha ha ha that was a peach of a goal.
I don't know why Capello hasn't picked him up yet. He kept on banging those goals. I'd say drop Heskey and put Bent on the start 11 with Rooney.
