Great game by Valencia! Just imagine the on form boys Valencia on the right wing, Ashley Young on the left and Rooney and Chicha through the middle! unplayable!
Man is falling appart. At least they can try to win the UEFA cup
United cannot have that many chances and only score 1 goal!. I agree we were unlucky but the quality of finishing was not that great.Newcastle's goalie was amazing and he did a very good job. Most of the second half the ball did not even leave Newcastle's penalty area.anyway it was a good game too watch Nani did very well in my opinion and Fabio was amazing. Running the ball all the way up and attacking and even taking a not bad shot at goal.Rooney needs to find his form again. He's been playing more like a midfielder than a forward
Haha we were lucky as hell to get that rebound off of Chicha but oh well he has had better goals, the season is just beginning and we are still improving

Good game! Man U doesn't look the same since the derby! Kinda sad to see actually. Keeping a bunch of clean sheets but struggling to score. Rooney needs to hit form again. Chicharito needs to come off the bench for me. He does nothing to build up the play. World class inside the 6 yard box though. We'll see what happens soon enough. Huge drop in points though considering Citeh had to play Pool and got a draw as well!

and thats just your opinion :)
So glad to see Chicharito playing more with the ball in games, creating himself opportinities and creating opportunities for other players as well and not being just a player kicking for goals, good job Chicha keep it up :)

we seriously need to buy CM,Our midfield is lack of creativity.

Heads up, now we go to Villa Park (after hosting Crystal Palace, of course)

P.S. I love that name, Crystal Palace, not a good one for a team, but it sounds so royale!!
Awesome result I think! I mean looked like a great game, lots of great saves by Newcastle keeper and some goal line defense stops, I glad Newcastle tied game 1-1, I mean Man United got a bit lucky with there bounces for that goal by Chicharito he was in right spot, and stuff, but I will say that Newcastle penalty was a bit lucky, that was a good tackle by Ferdinand but was risky, I glad though it came as a tie, and then at end when Chicharito had offside goal which was close but with touch it was good call, its good when calls are made right, but they are tough at times for sure for Refs and linesman

to all you haters, see you in May with the premier/champions league double under our belt.
I dont see cockiness in the First Ten commandments....

you will make it to the quarter finals, where you'll lose to your cockiness (unless of course basel makes it happen), and you'll probably finish 2nd in bpl.
Whats more annoying then United not winning a game they should have, is people coming on here and hating on Chicharito, how many goals does a 7 million pound substitute have to score before getting people's respect? 20 wasn't enough last year? Non united fans don't even realize alot of Chicha's app last year were at end of games, he didn't even play full games at first. He earned his way up, so you fools that think he hasn't scored enough have rubbish footy knowledge. He was thrown into the fire with NO Europe footy experiance. You want to point the finger go point it at Fer Torres, I seem to remember a 50 million pound buy with ONE goal attached to it.

Haha, Nice one Bay...!

I not a fan of Manu even dont like them very much :D but Chicharito is Hell of a players, he fights so much and he will sure get even better, gotta love that Chico

Having a player like Chicharito distinguishes teams like ManU from teams fighting for fourth like Liverpool. Chicharito has easily saved ManU 6 points to date. He's one hell of a striker and great to have on your team.
+1
lol thank you!. some people seem to forget that You win games by scoring goals..and he's done an incredible job for what united paid for him.
True, Newcastle hang toe to toe with Man U in the first half, but in the second half it was a different story. Obviously the penalty kick was a disgrace to refereeing, and Newcastle got lucky. I hate when teams play defensive football, to me it's like conceding that the other team is better than us. How can you honestly claim victory when the ball was played in your half of the field 80% of the time in the second half. Man U could've easily won this game 5 - 0 and Newcastle should consider themselves lucky for dodging such a big bullet.

Yeah, defensive football sucks that's why Arsenal can give away a 4-0 lead.

But here's the thing. Manchester United ARE better than Newcastle.

So would you suggest that Newcastle go all gung-ho for an honorable hammering, or defend and get a point?

Newcastle certainly didn't set up to park the bus and 'play defensively', they were forced to.

strategy is strategy you shouldnt be hating.
First things first.... it was never in a million years a penalty kick.

Now, with that out of the way, let's talk about the decisions that went Utd's way that nobody seems to be talking about.

1) Rooney's double kick. It was petulant and he lost control. I won't blow it out of proportion, but you can see the aggression and intent in his eyes.

2) Evra's handball in the box. Obertan crossed it in, hit Evra's arm. Penalties have been given for many a similar incident.

Man Utd didn't lose 2 points because of the penalty decision, they lost 2 points because Newcastle defended like titans in the last 15 minutes. They lost 2 points because Newcastle played really well, especially in the first half where they dominated midfield and kept control of the game.

Newcastle were hanging on for grim life at the end of the game, and perhaps in that respect, Man Utd were unlucky.

But for Ferguson to come out and say Newcastle were 'slaughtered' is nothing short of disrespectful. Especially since football matches last 90 mins... not 15.

As for Rooney's little outburst, I think that a yellow should have been given. Yes he was obviously a little out of control there but if you look at his first kick, it was directed towards the ball. On the second kick, he went for the ball but it was cleared out before he hit it so it looked a lot worse than it was. He should have never been going that hard in the first place but I can understand where he was coming from because the other player was on the ground basically on top of the ball. This is why you cannot play on the ground because of dangerous things like this. How else are you supposed to get the ball off of somebody that is laying on top on a ball? Just an opinion...
+1
I guess you have to kick the person on top of the ball or else you wont get the ball. Rooney was right and the intent was to get the ball. Big boys should not try to hide the ball under their leagues, any player might be tempted to kick you to get to the ball!
If you kick the person on top of the ball, then there's a term for that. It's called a foul. And that was a reckless kick.

I don't think Coloccini knew much about the ball's location to be honest. He certainly wasn't hiding it under his legs.

Anyway... ho hum... :)
I think it was a great match yes MAN.UTD was unlucky on the decision of the line’s man but that aside we got to give credit to Newcastle because football is not just about attacking but defending too and on Newcastle did it pretty well. Then again if you look at MAN.UTD they had 3 opportunities through CHICHARITO to win the match but the finish was sloppy so I think MAN.UTD is as much at fault as the line’s man for this draw. If we look at the middle of the park we can see that CARRICK was able to break the flow of the game and get the ball back but his distribution of the ball was sloppy. GIGGS even though he is an experience player he is not a creative central midfield. One might say am wrong but look at the facts NANI, YOUNG were like invisible and ROONEY was fuc*ing frustrated( lucky not to have been red carded for foul on COLLOCINI) and it is not only because the defence of Newcastle was good but because there were no creativity in the middle of the park someone to pick the right passes and open up some spaces. There is nothing more frustrating for attacking players if they don’t get the ball. SAF may still say he has options in midfield with all the injured midfield players I think he’s wrong . I believe for the time being he may gamble and introduce POGBA in midfield or PARK or FLETCHER then in january he’s got to buy at least 1 good midfield player. Well in defence I don’t have any complaints at the moment except why did RIO and VIDIC swap position Oo but as long as its good who cares.
PS:sorry for the long post xD !!!
