double post...
On Evra, it's pretty simple. He's good at attacking and not so good at getting back into position. He can defend but only when he wants to. Unfortunately the issue is instead of sprinting back, he jogs back and then apologises to his team mates, as if that makes it okay. We'll see if his way of playing costs us against Real Madrid.
He's got to work harder than normal or it will cost us.....

You might hate him if you're a Liverpool fan or even just not a United fan, but you guys can't say he's overrated. He's has been one of the most consistent players for a top Premiership club. You might not like him but he's a great player. Infact, this man is a very good player to have on the left flank. He makes very good overlapping runs to the corners and is good on the attack. However, once he gets forward it seems that he doesn't get back on defense quick enough at times. When he dose get on defense, he is a very solid defender with good tackling, interceptions, and his heading, pace, and strength is good enough. I am defiantly more comfortable with him at LB over Enrique, Gibbs and Baines.
RVP = #20

Not sure why people are complaning about evra , Made both 2 goals in this match . Obviously he's gonna leave a gap there when he goes up but when Utd are on the ball who cares if there's a gap there , you have to gamble to get rewards and he certainly got some rewards scoring 5 goals so far this season thus you can say what he did was right! -.-

Played like crap... Deserved to lose... Can't complain with score line... Vidic was NOT offside and the goal is his' not Evra...

Sturridge made a huge impact when he came on, had he started it would have been a different story.
He came on running at defenders who were tired from running for 60 minutes. He would have had less impact coming on from the start, utd didnt even let liverpool have a shot in the first half. Fans seem to forget this. For any decent striker, it is probably easier to come off the bench and score since you are fresh. Prime examples are chicha and dzeko.

Not sure why there are comments saying Vidic is offside. Just to share, a player is offside only when there is less than 2 opposing players in line with him when he gains the advantage, and the player who passes the ball has at least two opposing players between himself and the goal. In this case, both Evra and Vidic has only Reina between them and the goal, hence no matter how many times if they pass the ball between each other, they wont be offside. Just sharing :)
it wasn't offsides but that's not true at all. try it on fifa when you're 2v1 with the keeper. to pass the ball when you're past the last defender, the offsides line is where the ball is, not the last defender. if vidic was past the ball when evra passed it, he would be offsides.

that said, it looked like a straightforward (albeit slightly lucky, don't think vidic knew anything about it until it was in the back of the net) goal.

if the flick by van persie at 11:20 went in, it would have been the goal of the season. what a class player
Evra is daging good gotong forward but always give hole at left back. Put him left winger and Buttner at the back. Might work
Evra is having a massive resurgence this season. He has actually been quite brilliant and was against Liverpool. I think people are still judging him on his very poor season before. You'd actually be surprised to know that other than putting in less crosses than Baines he's making more tackles, headers, dribbles, goals and assists than any other LB in the EPL this season.

noooooooo way. I prefer evra at left back. Buttner gets beaten too easily
Evra is a really lazy defender watch most of Liverpool attacks he doesn't do squat to try and defend. Buttner should start.
