Crawley Town should of won

Good game. commendable effort from crawley and decent play all round from them. Great cross from gibson - not sure if it needed the header in. Barring rare exceptions, everyone makes their own luck so it would be wrong to call man u "lucky" but they didn't play up to their usual standards and they know it. David bravely managed to draw out the match and nearly got it even but goliath whacked him in the end - not hard ,not a knockout, but hard enough.

Lucky? No. Rubbish? Yes. Fergie even said himself he is considering giving bebe and obertan the axe at the end of the season, think that's a bit harsh, everyone has their bad days.

great game by Crawley, they had their chances but simply couldn't score. I really thought that header was going in, but simply just wasn't down enough. Rafael and Hernandez missed chances, so Man Utd has themselves to blame for making it so close. Gibson had a fine game.

Why people keep mentioning Manchester United was lucky is beyond me. You say lucky as if Crawley was bombarding us with shot after shot and just never got the goal. Which again that could also be considered just inability to score, not luck. But that's not the case. Manchester United was simply rubbish. Not even average. Except for some glimpses of nice football every now and then. Rooney was utter siht and Bebe was just missing a red nose and a clown outfit for the joke he is. Obertan, I still have faith in. He has the talent.
Quarterfinals against Arsenal will be interesting. The extra game against Leyton is always welcome in this hefty schedule.
