To the people talking about Ashley. It's not like he was crying and attacking the referee. Who made a bad decision by the way, so did the lines man. People love to hate but i get it, 2 questionable penalties consecutively. But again not the players fault for not learning the boundaries. He keeps getting away with it and people are making it into a witch hunt.
So according to your logic (and please tell me if I'm wrong), the referees are to blame, right?

However, isn't the point of a simulation to trick the referee into giving you the free kick or the penalty? So you're blaming the guy who just fell for what A. Young expected him to fall for? Interesting logic.

And frankly, it IS the player's fault for not learning the boundaries.

it's a shameful dive against his ex-team

Young kind of tainted the win with that fcking habit of diving of his...but i have hope SAF will adress this soon enough.Havign said tht i think the true ppl responsible for this man's game turning into a diving show is the FA yh those guys can see the ref are hopeless infront of such actors. So move your ass and empower those poor ref the solution is simple and the tech is there but they seeem to be too butt hurt to use it which i will never understand !
Cmon Utd......I loved every bit of this game....what a game!!!!!!
A.Young you are a rock star mate :)) you took the pressure of us!!!cmon guys...He is playing for the Team’s win, it doesn't matter which team he is playing for,he did wht was required for us, that goal was crucial in the first 45 minutes, just check the latest games, all the Team take most of the challenges in the penalty box, so the defenders should be smart enough to play in the box, the intention of the defender was to foul A.young in the box,so he put the left leg in the life of A.Young's path, instead he should have played the ball....Yes, credit goes to A.Young's smart thinking for taking the most of that challenge and contacting the leg of the defender....I have seen great defender's like Terry,Company,Vidic,Pique,Puyol etc, they always try to play the ball instead of making foul in the penalty box that's why they are great defenders!!!!I think ref did a great job by sporting that the defender didn’t play the ball and his intention was to block young and its a foul and that’s a clear penalty, i have no doubt about that....
There's is a margin between playing smartly and cheaply !!!!
Not complaining if young did dive or not, yes many players do that from different clubs in different countries

i just can´t accapt that this is going to be standard in football, there is always the wish for fairplay from the UEFA, FIFA, and each other organisation and then we benefit so many wrong decisions there are made like penelties, no real goals like Spurs-Chelsea or anything else....that´s unacceptable

Nevertheless congratulation to ManU for that win, they were overall the better team so they deserved to win, if they win a 20th...im fine with that

What i dont like is these ManU fans who are mucking other fans that they win another Premier League title, i understand why many people call you glory hunters....

Just next year, dont play like a two face team in Europe and the league, cause what manchester united played this year in the CL and EL was embarrassing, for whole england
If there is any justice in the world, Aston Villa will be relegated and we will never have to watch McLeish in the Premiership again.
Y'all need to quit it with the hate & learn to appreciate. Yes Ashley Young dived, boo f*****g hoo. Its not the first time a player's gonna dive in soccer, and it sure wouldn't be the last, so get over it. ♫ We retain the Premier League..... ♫
It's not the first time a player dives, you're right. It doesn't mean with have to appreciate the cheating...

I also find particularly sad that he did that to his former club...

Ashley Young is class, why can't he just stay on his damn feet? I would always try to stay on my feet if i were him. just to school everyone with them.
If there is one thing in football i cant stand it would be diving. A blemish to the beautiful game.

A flop but what did you expect? Who doesnt go down with a little bit of contact in the box? Well done Ashley, noone seems to care when Cristiano dives like Michael Phelps in the box every chance he gets

young dives young dives... everybody will keep on talking bout him now on. love to see united won, hate to see young did that. abit over dramatic lol.

leave young aside. it's SCHOLES TIME. midfield vs wigan and midfield of this game. feel the difference? scholes is soooo awesome can't imagine what position united would be without him orchestrate the midfield since january transfer. i hope he wins the EPL greatest player award.
I can't believe that almost everyone has overlooked the fact that Man United had one of the best game of their season.

Yes, Young went down like a little princess. But come on people seriously. I a play as a defender, and part of defending is making smart challenges. That is, always go for the f*****g ball! If you make contact with the striker, in all of his right, he will make the most of it. The problem here is Young's reputation. Not United's. In perspective, that penalty that leaded to the goal was inconsequential to how the game unfolded. VIlla has pressing high and that created space for united to counter and build up comfortably

Again, Scholes was magnificent in orchestrating the midfield. Rafael(edit thanks Npo1996) had a hell of a game. His technique in both offensive and defensive is just brilliant. His pairing with Valencia on the right wing is just devastating to any team. Welbeck had great game as well. Played well both in the finishing and the build up. As much as I am a Chicharito fan, Welbeck deserves to have that place in the first team. He might not be as clinical as Hernandez, but his passing and pace make up for it. The finishing will come. (He did had 2 or 3 shots on target either blocked or saved)

On the flip side, regardless of his brace, Rooney had a dreadful game and deserved to be subbed. Berbatov added nothing to the game.

Brilliant game for the Red Devils. This game showed why they deserve to be champions. The Hunger was there.

But lets face the undeniable fact that United won not because they needed to keep ManCity at bay, or SAF tore them a new one after the flop at Wigan. United won because Heskey allowed them to win.

Just keeping it real. Cheers!
