It's well worth noting that Lampard as missing,Last season Lampard was the top scorer against city,Albeit mostly with Penalties, the point is Like Man City missed Tevez against Wolves, Chelsea missed lampard
dude, i'll tell you why man city beat chelsea.
there's only one reason they have amazing players

david silva
carlos tevez
immanuel adebayor
jerome boateng
wayne bridge
gareth barry
james milner

get it now???
Chelsea played some good football but man city do better.Tevez is a magician and he can do and undo anytime.
Didn't Man City do this last season too, beat the big teams but slip up in the so called easier games?
man city doing a barcelona eh?
this is how you know most chelsea fans are people who don't know much about football, just because they lose they are rubbish.
oh, look who's talking...Chelsea had not a bad game, but man city dominated the game better than Chelsea specially in midfield. I believe Chelsea won't loose at Stamford Bridge to a team like west brom like what happened at the Emirates ;)
The people who are voting Chelsea 'Rubbish' are not Chelsea fans you stupid!!!
@scavenger894

its only a 1 - 0 loss, and that also, a brilliant goal by tevez.
We wouldn't vote Chelsea rubbish. I'll vote Chelsea did average (or great) and Man City great (or awesome)
Really? A "true" Chelsea fan cant call the team's display rubbish? The team was unlucky not to score from Ivanovic's header in the first half but other than that, their attacking display basically consisted of a handful of wasteful efforts from distance by Michael Essien.

I was really disappointed that the team couldn't muster a solitary goal given their rich vein of form. Maybe my expectations are too high but I expect Chelsea to win every match and the manner in which they lost this past weekend was tough to watch so I reserve my right to say they played like rubbish.
@IVasco they were rubbish i know and so what. I thought Chelsea were excellent in this game and were unlucky to get nothing out of it. Also please don't forget you guys lost to New Castle United remember that? your out of the carling cup.
Before you guys start ripping my heads off, a few (quite a few) chelsea fans are people who only follow them because they win everything, they are one of the most prolific clubs in the world. So when they lose all they do is say they suck.
This game made it blatantly obvious that Chelsea really misses Frank Lampard in the midfield. City's defense did really well to take the front 3 (Malouda, Drogba, and Anelka) out of the game. However it was easy to do so because aside from those 3 there was no real attacking threat aside from Essien's wayward shots from distance.

Lampard would have linked midfield to attack and his goal scoring ability wouldnt allow for City to focus solely on the front three. however with Chelsea playing essentially 3 defensive midfielders it was much easier to do...Ramires looked a little lost out there in my opinion.

Thought Chelsea would have nicked a point but full credit goes to Man City's defense and Tevez found a way to punish the Blues once again. just glad United and Arsenal couldnt take advantage of the loss!
Thank God Daily Motion videos are back!
Chelsea were not rubbish. They had their chances and played very well...Just because City took the chance to get the winning goal they were pretty much even all game.

GOOD JOB CITY!!!
i am sure Chelsea will come with more resolve against next big team... yet man City played hard and nice i enjoyed game immensely !
Why are so many people voting Rubbish? "Average" would be more appropiate, if you watched the game, you'll see it was hard for Chelsea to penetrate a 10-man-defence, can't blame them if they have to create the game and City just counter attacking like crazy. Toure was the best player on the field and Tevez doing as much as necesary.

This was the first "big team" for chelsea this season, it was to be expected some people here thought by beating weak teams in the first couple of matches this season they'd be unstoppable.

Good job Mancity and Mancini, you just prove to the world that a better team does not always score half a dozen of goals every match, indeed at some point they'll lose.
sky is such a nicer shade of BLUE! chelsea just seemed unprepared for real competition this week....i feel sorry for whoever has to play them next...a thrashing will be dealt in response to this....yes city didn't have the most effective attack...it only worked once, but once was enough...Tevez is magic as always...would like to see David Silva find similar form, what a combo that could be up front
City didn't well at all. They only had 1 major attack and they scored. Chelsea played much better!!!! too bad. comon Chelsea!!!
KTBFFH
Chelsea maby playd better than City, but they also sucked.
They should win. Its a shame that its the 3rd time in a row they beat us. No problem tho' cuz we gonna release the Anger on Arsenal xD ...
Oh come on now Chelsea boys how come you cant pull the big score lines on teams like this like you do to the weaker ones, where is the so called team to beat?
don't chatter too much. we will see your game against city.
