Man U has some serious problems at keeper...
@ 12:01 after hernandez scores, camera zooms into a group of fans. something's definitely wrong with the one in the middle. ????
great result boys!!!!
Marveaux dived imo, and his free kick wasn't even close, outside edge.
tough for newcastle to go to old trafford get 3 goals and come away with nothing must be disappointing
Understatement
Not sure what was more exciting. The game or Fergie having an utter meltdown.
+1
its so weird that when we were playing city, chelsea or arsenal, we took a 2-0 lead, but when we are playing lower level clubs we always go behind and then comeback.. its as if fergie has told em to go behind just so we can put on a show !
+1
Hey,we arent a lower level team,lol
+3
^ lol
well ill give credit and props to tottenham to come and beat us at old trafford .. but i wasnt referring to your club in particular but to the other 8 clubs that took the lead and ended up losing the match..
however since you did mention the level of your club and tried to spark something, ill remind you of something you should not forget.. you are a lower level club compared to chelsea, city, arsenal and united ( if you want to dispute that please tell me how many premier league trophies have your club won)
Haha,we are lower than Chelsea & City?
They are billionaires toys, they arent big clubs at all, without the money theyd be mediocre at best
Tottenham does a good job with net spending, but they keep a pricey payroll as well.. Why these teams are above Tottenham ("billionaire's toys") does not change the fact that they are considered "above" Tottenham..
So City are a big club now theyve got billionaire owners?
So does that mean QPR & Forest are aswell?shocking logic
city fight for the title while you fight for the fourth spot.. how about that for logic?
also i am done with this conversation
This game shows that Attack is the best form of defence really

You see it as glass half full... I see it as glass half empty.
Seriously, Evans own goal rightly stood. It was Evans pulling Cisse back with both of his hands on his arm (as reply CLEARLY show) then poked it in. It's a goal.
+4
evans pulling cisse=cisse interfere evans in an offside position.

so no goal
+1
lol evans fouling cisse pulling him into an offside position... sounds like a penalty to me
+4
I think it deserved to stand just because of Evans' shocking attempt at a clearence, the only way Cisse interfered was because he was keeping Evans from falling over!
i guess this is why the decision is such a hard one to make.. because you guys have your biased and we(utd fans) have ours.. our point being >> evans wouldnt really have to clear the ball had there been no presence of cisse.. he would have simply controlled the ball or let it slide to the keeper for a simple take( instead of attempting the terrible clearence he had done)
therefore as a utd fan would say, cisse presence was a legitimate interference with the play
looked to me like it deserved to stand.
that was bu#lshIt, united got robbed, the ref is a crook. on another note did anyone see chicarito's face when he missed at 9:12 it was like oh god SAF is gonna rape me i'd better score to make up for it
Credit where credit is due, in the last 20 minutes it was pretty much Man U pushing for the win.
+5
Look t the stats,United were unlucky not to get at least a draw out of that game.
Oh you guys are so cute, referring to Newcastle as 'United'...lol....keep fighting for EL spots and dreaming of a top two finish
+2
They are United, look at their name..........
+3
Oh you're so clever...we all know, around the world, when you say United, who you're referring to. The club from Manchester
I dont,i call them Man U,lol
that's true, but does it mean the United name is Trade marked specially for mu by any chance? no, we can call newcastle utd, sheffield utd, westham utd, leeds utd, etc...united. you get the drift
I think the world would end without Hayleycomet's intelligence to save us every day.
+1
newcastle has the most amazing fans
+1
Keep the hate comments coming ppl. I'm running out of popcorn
+4
You fking hypocrites , when newcastle's goal was disallowed i bet you guys would come here and rant about man utd and the FA and SAF blah blah now the decision's gone Newcastle's way and yet you guys rant about how SAF raged on the refs , just go and fk off i dun need my team to be watched by so many supporters of other clubs . If you hate Man Utd then don't watch football because Man Utd epitomises football ( at least they used to)..
Fking c***s in denial it's fking irritating every man utd highlight has retarded comments just fk off . Maybe you need to get Gordon Ramsey to be your psychiatrist to get over your denial that Man Utd own their success to luck!
+1
lol hahahahahahahahahahaha
+1
CALM DOWN SIR!!!
+1
hahahaha. but honestly saf is the sorest loser in the game, and i think barca might have something to say about 'epitomising football'
+3
......... What's the point..........
Surely United cant keep doing this.
Fergie was well out of order and if he doesnt get disaplinary action taken against him and either Redknapp or Mancini do then it would show blatant favoritism (as if he doesnt get a bit of that anyway)
+3
the guy is a knight, of course he has friends in high places...
So that makes it right?
of course not... look, i love the sport, but soccer is arguably the most corruptible game in the world... most things aren't right
look up the rules mate.. The FA says not to make comments on refs to the press(even if they are positive).. fergie was banned for 3 games last season because of that... mancini made a comment he gets punished..
however there is no rule for arguing with a ref (during or after the game) as all managers do that.. no matter how much heat in the argument, the fa cant take action.. the only way they could have punished fergie was if he had for example pushed the ref or something along the lines, or kicked an object to the field in his anger(like wenger did once in the past) etc.. but otherwise all is good in the hood!
...Or if the referee made a comment in his post-match report, which he didn't. I think the referee understood that the heat of the decision was undoubtedly going to spark a heated reaction, and didn't mind it too much. I know I would have let it go.

Mancini's comments post-match are unjustified; you can't defend that. Openly insulting a referee in the press has almost no defense. The decision was made, he can argue about it all he wants, but he can't publicly humiliate the official. And those comments *were* humiliating, it wasn't simple criticism.
+1
Redknapps comments were humiliating TheKeeper but hes getting a letter through the post too,the ref decided not to add it in his report, but i doubt the linesman who was being harassed DURING the match had any say in that, because thats not right.
Didnt Fergie do the same in the press after the game about Ashley Williams just last week?didnt get anything for that did he,theres no defence for him!
what bout Wenger got sent off by kicking a bottle
When do United not score a late goal to win a game! They always get late goals in 80 or 90th min and take the 3 points, it just makes me so mad! Always have to find a way to fight for a goal. They do have some exciting playing and scoring so thats good for there fans, but always wish they wouldn't be winning these games last minute. But good on Newcastle doing the best they can and scoring some goals but o well. United get there luck as usual.
I really dont think its all luck. There persistance pays off, they play till the last second and never stop believeing. Its just the Manchester United way:)
+1
haha luck is what chelsea had last season when you fluked the champions league win. As for United its a never say die attitude thats why we never give up until the game is over.
+2
didnt know defending was luck? thought it was a part of the game. a part of the game united could work on ;)
+2
United worked for the win, they created good chances and scored. What's the problem with that? We did the same thing in the Norwich game.

And we were lucky that Barcelona didn't score more in that Champions League game. We defended well, but they had a lot more chances than we did. We went through, deservedly, we have the goals to prove it, but luck was involved. You can't say that here - the chances were fairly even.
to be honest i dont think chelsea were lucky to win the champions league(i felt i could say something since all united fans were taking a swipe at chelsea's win last year).. barca and bayern both had so many chances to kill the game yes, and they also controlled most of the possesion but its their own f*****g fault if they failed to make the most of it. chelsea did their part and clinched the title thats all there is to it. there was no luck involved. both teams had their strategies(for eg barca's was to hold and control the ball while chelsea's was to defend with all their heart) and in the end chelsea's strategy was the one that worked! its the same case here.. united always win in the end because we fight to the very end and not give in! there is no luck!
