As for the Best Team it is still clearly Barca IMO...Inter under Mourinhio is great,but if Inter/Barca was a best of 7 series i have no doubt Barca would win.That being said, Barca leads La Liga by 1 Point presently. It makes me wonder though....what would be Barca's record if Messi missed 2 Months due to injury?

Typical Madrid tbh brilliant going forward but REALLY bad defensively which may be enough to win you La Liga most of the time but not in Europe against the elite teams like they have got to learn.

As for Ronaldo for me he's only got Messi and Rooney for company at the moment being slightly behind Messi in that aspect domestically and probably better in Europe but what the deciding factor is gonna be is the World Cup and Argentina just aren't good enough and one of the reasons why is because Internationally against well organised defenses ( Inter springs to mind in Europe) Messi isn't good or physically strong enough to compete and isn't a talisman like Ronaldo and Rooney are for their countries. If both Portugal and England get beyond the QF stage it will be without question down to those 2 players and if they progress beyong that theres your player of the year for me.

You can't say a player is the best in the world when he fails at the biggest stage of them all and I honestly think thats what is going to happen to Messi.
