Woah this was a legit game with no exaggerated drama.. Well that's a first! Too many missed chances for both sides though. Also feel like barca had a slight edge in second half

wow. this certainly does not disappoint.

Real Madrid played much better than I would have expected. They seem more well rounded.

The game had equal opportunities.

However, Barca's opportunities were more clear cut. Pedro. Iniesta. Not to mention that Messi got hacked just outside the box.

Too many chances were missed by both sides. Benzema and ronaldo shoulve scored. Especially ronaldo, it was a clear cut chance. Seemed to me that he didnt know weather he should tap it in or head it because he landed quite awkwardly. Varane had an incredible match. He cleaned up veteran carvalhos mess, too control of our back line, gave meaningful balls, and his overall presence was felt on the pitch. Higuin didnt do anything spectacular either when he came on. Although ozil gave a BEAUTIFUL assist, he didnt play consistantly. I was expecting much more out of him. Khedira did have an okay game, gave a few balls here and there. Essien also had an alright game. Callejon didnt have such a great him, his presence wasnt felt at all. As for barcelona, pedro shouldve scored, and fabregas coulde scored a second but he took too long and varanve came to the rescue. Lopez had a wonderful game, and the barcelona goal was intially a madrid error. Hoping for a better second leg

Ronaldo was defending for most of the game, its the truth. At one point i thought he was the leftback..lol

Hahaha he was attacking too, he was taking it for the team and doinf whatever he could to contribute which isnt bad or wasteful at all. Besides, varane had you guys under control.

I always knew Varane was a good young player of all the games i watch him played he reminded me of Alba from Bayern they're both calm headed.''Varane had you guys under control'' not so sure about that when Pedro was on goal all by himself.

hell of a game...but what has happened to dailymotion? it has gone to s**t, used to be so reliable...i just spent 30 mins watching 11 mins of highlights...but i guess that's the price of free highlights when there aren't any alternatives...

Awful offside decision at a crucial moment, shameful tackle from Essien (I've seen players sent off for less), Blatant foul of Messi the edge of the area?

I wouldn't say they were cheated, but certainly didn't have the decisions on their side, which can make all the difference in games like this. It's their own fault though. If you don't put the ball in the back of the net, you don't win. Even if you get a few kicks along the way.

This comment sums up all my feelings about the match. Not totally cheated but we did have some serious game changers called unfairly, but our poor finishing ruined us just as much if not more
