Trol... stop making excuses LFC desevred the win
Great game, love the energy.
Oh and Suarez won't be too impressed will he?

He's a player who lieks to play fluid, quick on the ground football and Dalglish has bought a bunch of englishmen who only know how to cross and header.
My god La Liga teams excluding Barca and madrid are poor.

Liverpool are probably England's 5th/6th strongest side, Valencia is easily La Liga's 3rd yet they were absolutely dire.

This stronghold Barca and Real have in La Liga is making the other sides worse and worse. Not long now before La Liga becomes SPL

absolute b******s, lpool is still a strong team, the other teams have just gotten richer. By the way its only a preseason match. Spain is still light years ahead of Eng in football and even playing the CL final in Wembley cannot save you as Barca humiliated Man U, yet you are the "top" team in England.
I think "humiliated" is a bit strong. Where's the shame in losing to what is clearly the world's best team?

I have to agree with Bilboy, though. The quality of most La Liga sides is declining - it's still a good league, but I think the EPL has edged it out in the last few years.

Part of me would love to see La Liga and the EPL adopt a similar financial system to what is currently employed in the Bundesliga - ownership and spending rules make it harder for dynasties to take hold, and it makes for a far more exciting league season (in my opinion)

Oh Bilboy it's just amazing!
lol laliga4life, you just said spanish football is ahead of english football because barca beat man u... which is a very poor comparison to make when comparing two leagues. what billboy is saying is that the top 6 teams in england are all better than the 3rd team in la liga, which is shocking!

just because barca > man u, it doesnt mean la liga is the best league in world... idiot
la liga is the best in the world no argument.
It's appropriate that the supporters of the two perpetual dynasties of La Liga are the ones arguing for the league's superiority.

"No argument" is apt, Mongol99, because you haven't made one.

change up. crushing valencia and losing 3-0 to hull city.

These goals were so 'pretty' that 75% of the highlights focused on Carroll's silly challenge. I admire his spirit but its just a friendly, how bad would he feel if he broke that guys leg?
+1
It was a practice match and carroll just made sure he would know how to break Vidic's ;-)
Harsh.
Andy Carroll = the new Kevin Davies? :) give 'em hell, reds!
Like what Liverpool are doing, wingers and a big center forward give the team a new dimension which they've lacked for ages.Compared to the squad we started with last season this is much better with good depth.Carroll was a good signing, hes looking fitter than last season and showed a bit of pace getting onto that awful back pass plus still young. On top of that Suarez looks top class,he can go past defenders and make chances as well as score.Always liked him at Ajax but hes looking even better than I thought he would be.

1st goal was hilarious!!

Good tune up for season for Liverpool, get crowd happy, both goals were interesting to say the least, but they counted so its all good, first one just ball bounced all Carroll's way and he got it in, 2nd one was just a traffic jam and finally put into net lol
All in all it was a good performance I'd say but it could be much better. I'm really looking forward to Suarez, Gerrard and Lucas(has yet to refind his place in the team) playing together with the new boys and it's gonna be a very good season I'd say.

I just hope they won't focus too much on attacking over the wings, they were fantastic in the 2nd half of last years season with attacks through the middle and I'm not so sure if Suarez would like a game which is heavily focused on the wings though he seems to be quite adaptable...!
They'll mix it up.Down the wings, throe the middle now they have the players to do both.Would like a center back as Agger is often injured,Carragher is getting on and I'm not keen on Kyriakos as hes a bit clumsy.Cahill from Bolton would be my choice.
Suarez will play behind Carroll and can easily link the two wingers and Carroll, but we all know that if there is even a hint of space, his instincts will tell him to attack the goal. Liverpool to break into the top 4 this season.

well done liverpool. I think they will end up in the top 4, they just gotta keep their cool. Can't wait to see Gerrard come back and join, that's when the goals are gonna start dropping ahahaha.. legoo liverpool
