downing whatever goals he has scored they have been brilliant i mean not of like out of this world kind but defnitely no the easy ones, i can remember few of them being against stoke in FA up or carling cup tie last season, another being at the early start of the season(i think europa qualifier) that was just one class goal cuting in and taking a long shoot..

and 3rd one being this one..

considering it didn't matter and his job is to keep a clean sheet, not score.. i doubt even he will remember that, but yeah probably shoulda made it 5-nil

i would disagree there with you there cos this time it did't matter that much cos we wer in good shape and fulham wer not posing any kind of threat to us..otherwise everychance is a golden opp. and that also that early in the game and the chances like that you can't miss..though agger has been absolute master in his relative department but still i would say opp like shouldn't be missed..

every goal at the end of the season counts..

yeah i hear what you're saying, but it can't be miss of the year if it didn't really mean anything. if we had lost or tied i would definitely agree with the first comment, but its not agger's job to put the ball in the back of the net, its his job to keep it out, so i don't know that it's all that weird that he missed a clear shot. I do however agree that 5-nil has a much nicer ring to it and we shouldn't be missing opportunities. but that wasn't our problem this match like it has been for the past couple years. thus my rationale :)

Great day for Liverpool.

Though having seen Gerrard in really bad form the previous games, he turn out to be just magnificent in this match. Great runs, great passing and just keeping his head cool.

Hopefully Liverpool can build on this victory. The tendancy has been that Liverpool has disappointed me the game after every great match. Don't want to see this happening now.
