What a great move by Glen Johnson passing through the two defenders! Superb volley by Ngog but the Birmingham defence should not have allowed more shots on the goal.

I hope Aquilani will be in the starting eleven today, Liverpool got to win.
it's funnu how some people say we were bad against bermingham, we played and dominated so well, the only thing missing was the goals or more goals, anyway i am confident as we have been playing some great stuff and if we keep on working hard the luck will turn.
Liverpool had dominated . indeed , but were unlucky, they're still a threatening team
u're right Aussie LFC liverpool was playing better.
I think Glen johnson is one of the best attacking defender in the world.
Almost looks like he is playing as a winger.
Look at him the way he dribbles, and accelerates and cut back inside.
Well i gotta say he is a true class player.

And OMG!!!

Look at the CROWD before goal from 12 minutes.
When johnson is approaching towards the patient.
Crowd is cheering up.
And first shoot, second shoot,
And a goal. The crowd was totally awesome.

Looks like they were also playing with liverpool, but from outside the pitch.I must admit that they are very good fans of the team.

Keep rising LIverpool..:-)
Liverpool voted as rubbish? Clearly none of you who voted for that saw the game, CLEARLY your bloody idiots.
Yeah!
Totally.
I was surprise to see people voting "Rubbish".

They probably voted rubbish because of the dive incident.. im not really that impressed of what happened but oh well its not like its the first time that has happened.. clearly David N'Gog has been taking lessons from the italians ahaha nah im playing lol but im referring to Australia vrs Italy last world cup =[
News Just In -- Benitez threatens to quit if Torres is sold against his wish. Looks like the owners are feeling a credit crunch and a massive bid for torres could see him move away. Torres to Madrid?
unfortunate for birgmingham. but oh well, liverpool had so many chances.
I don't necessarily feel bad for Liverpool the team as I do Benitez the manager. I really like his style. Seems like a cool cat and has his sh*t wired tight. And so I'd like him to be more successful than this. Things will turn around. If Liverpool sacks him they will be making a huge mistake.
As typical I see fellow so called Liverpool fans calling for Rafa to be sacked n deluded man u fans spouting the usual @#$%..Benitez is the best manager in the premiership bar none. His tactical brain is subsequent to none. the @#$% results lately are down to the overpaid overrated under achieving gobsh1tes on the pitch not doing what Rafa tells them. When the team tags along his instructions to the letter we're inevitable. The players need to start doing as told n Rafa needs to shift some of the deadwood. Voronin dossena to name just 2.We showed against man u what happens when the team follows rafas instructions to the letter. Quickest way to reverse this Liverpool form is really simple. Rafa should be allowed to lay the law down n tell the team straight ''you do as I say or you don’t get paid''. If rafa handed that ultimatum down we'd win the fkin title this season.
Well said lad!
agreed! we're having a bad run right now... we've had the lion's share of the possession and shots on goal for the last 4 or so matches we just can't finish it off... lack of concentration/confidence... it happened late last season too... we pulled our s#!t together and made a run at ManU
I think you put it pretty well but you used the word "overrated" yourself and I think Liverpool needs some reinforcements. With Gerrard and Torres not involved the team is just not that scary in European or EPL terms. Not following (or grasping) Benitez' tactical ideas is part of it, but I get the impression that they depend on one or two players too strongly. That crap game against Lyon (the one at Anfield) was the most impressive example
we showed how well we can play, now we need to show how clinical we can be.
HAHA, next time Liverpool will lose home against City:D
hells yea they will.:D
I think I'm gonna have to kindly ask you to BLOW!!!
liverpool just did't have enough luck, but Glen Johnson played a good game
Okay so I'm going to make an example out of this f*****g little s**t Janzzzen because Chelsea fans are the most loud mouth c***s ever. Liverpool are getting bad luck, you know why? because they are out of sync, you know why, BEACAUSE THEY LOST THEY'RE CENTRAL MIDFIELDER OF LIKE 5 SEASONS IN ALONSO. Of course they aren't going to be the same team, its not possible. I'D LOVE to see your precious Chelsea FC without Drogba, Lampard and Anelka or John terry for fives weeks and see how they do. They wouldn't know the difference between a strike and a pass.
and one more thing, do you remember last years champions league playoff's liverpool vs Chelsea? I ran out of f*****g fingers counting how many god damn times that piece of s**t Drogba was sliding on the grass calling FOUL FOUL MY ANKLES ARE HALF BROKEN!
Piece of s**t. Before you go off talking about other teams, remember that your teams not in any place to talk. When Lampard is gone for a month along with Drogba and Anelka and you can still beat down teams, then let me know and I'll buy you a pint, until then, get lost.

There I'm done
heh heh!!! Chelsea fans give me a big fat floppy one..
Why must you call out all Chelsea fans like that i am not like that.Isnt a team one that can cope in any position? Obviously we would do bad without Drogba Lampard Anelka and or Terry...but we can without Chech and im sure you remember that... Drogba has never obtained a yellow card for diving but i can recall Gerrard getting a few. Stop making excuses for loosing and try to win a damn Premiership!
i cnt beleve tht liver cnt win ??
atleast ngog knows how to dive , that animal drogba needs a lesson from him. he has probably had more yellow cards for diving then fouling.
ngog is a diver, he cheated. buuuu!!
