give me a break. gerrard has been terrible this season and torres can't stay healthy for a week. losing xabi late last summer was huge too, aquilani and especially lucas are not good enough replacements.

As a pool Fan i think Stevie G did what he thought was right.He saw there was no chance for his team to win and knew it was better to gift The Chavs the title than to let Manutd get no 19.That is why He made the back pass.It was all calculated and so visible.I don't care what Manutd fans think of this but i am sure if the table were turned Neville for one would do it.As for Pool sad to say. Everybody will be leaving..Torres for 70m, Stevie G to Chelsea for 40 M(since he wants Prem Title) Mascherano for Barca 35M, Yossi for 7 M and Probaly Reina too who will follow Rafa to Italy.The demise of Liverpool sadly is just a few months away. The club needs money and i doubt the new investor will splash around 200M for us to get descent players. That is all if Tom and Jerry sell the club and don't fall into the same situaion as Newcastle. Will be awful to see my beloved Torres in a blue shirt

So what do you wish to do? Change camps or wait and see what they can come up with the next season? If I were a pool fan, I choose the latter. A club with 118 years of history and a cupboard full of trophies should have faced issues like these years ago and came out of them successfully. Keep the spirit up, there may still be light at the end of the tunnel...:)

Do Liverpool have no pride? To throw away their last home game of the season jsut so that their fiercest rivals do not surpass their league titles count, desparate or what! I mean watch Chelsea's 2nd goal, and you will see LIVERPOOL fans in the background celebrating, wow, shocking. Hopefully Torres (who I admire greatly) leaves this sinking ship and moves to a club on the up, even City would be a step up to Liverpool.

Guardiangel, please. Zidane didn't make a mistake. Ever. If you're referring to the WC indicident, the only mistake he made was to not finish off Materazzi. Cristiano Ronaldo did not cause Rooney to get a red card, the kid did that all by himself. Maradona was intentional and fully aware, not a 'mistake' but an intentional act.

Chelsea will have to put their B team in their to lose that game.If the same team that faced Pool plays they will win surely because nobody wants to blow a title game so close.Chelsea have a title to win as motivation added but for wigan nothing but to do Mantud a favor...Should they really want that.What has Utd done for Wigan to deserve this???? A win or loss for Wigan is not going to do anything for them except decide who is the title contenders.If i were wigan, i'd let the Chavs win.

Chelsea has been fairly more consistent this season , comparatively. Have won both their home and away matches against Liverpool , United & Arsenal. Scored 95 goals this season and have the best goal difference ever.

Few old legs out there , but we can't be complaining as long as they are performing. Plus the team will be replenished with academy players next season. Like Ancelotti has mentioned , 5 players will make the first team from the reserves and academy.

As far as the next season is considered , its all left to be seen.
