Sterling done well but not once did he get past Jenkison
This poves Arsene is far more better than Brendon
It seems Sahin is the next Aquilani
It was his first game...don't be so quick to doubt.
Gerrard, Carrager and Joe Cole have to go for the new, good and quality players to come.
what a BAD day...!!!
.........Of course it had to be Howard Webb officiating.

from what i saw in these highlights the standout players for both teams were diaby, carzola, podolski, sterling shelvey and suarez.both teams got chances and played great but arsenal just took their's.
Suarez was not good to be honest, Sterling is wicked though!
Aretata was excellent also.
A certain Joe Allen didn't do badly either.
fun fact henry bergkamp and ian wright all scored there first goals for arsenal against southampton....guess who the gunners play next? COMMON GIROUD!

I really hope giroud is not the next chamakh or bendthner. but cazola like wenger said pffff, he is world class and a pleasure to watch. cazola = 1 assist and 1 goal with over 200 passes. mata and silva = 0 assist and 0 goal with under 200 passes.

The only reason Chamakh feel by the wayside is because RVP got all the play. He is not an impact sub but lets not forget that he was excellent and kept scoring until RVP did get healthy.

OG will score goals. One goal and he will start killing it, you can just tell.

most strikers struggles at beginning in a new club, remember Henry!!!

even though henry started off in the wing lol...
anyone else like girouds movement? he scares defensives, all he needs is shooting boots and fullbacks will s**t themselves.

I agree with you. The way how he pulled the defence away for the first goal was also class. There is something about him.

beastly performance by diaby. hopefully he can stay fit and reach his full potential. great player
