I don't even think Lazio know what hit them after Ateletico's first goal!

It is good to see one of my fav German strikers score though =)
where are the fans?

Nicely done Atletico. Thought Lazio would do good given their recent form.
I've been lazio fan since i was 10 years or somethin.. and they were awesome.. those players and moneey. This match was so bad seriously!! today's lazio is nothing compared to old days.. we're out of uefa for sure.. lots of players who CAN NOT play football.. a mad supporter..

Good to see Falcao back on his form

the old falcao is back and he is a predator all i can say is he wont stop scoring from this point on beware la liga here he comes
What a striker Falcao is this season. First season in La Liga and already is the 3rd highest goal scored (tied with Higuain) And lets not forget his injury for a couple of weeks. He might not have scored the most spectacular goals today, but he really helped out the team through out the 90 minutes.

If he can keep this up for the rest of the season, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to a bigger club if not this summer then the next.
wtf with rutube??? i can't see any highlights since yesterday!!
They need "Roma" to be recognized in europe ahahahahha
Super Atletico are back!
If they keep improving then the Europa League is theirs.
Losing so badly at home is embarrassing. Hope Lazio do not finish in the top 4 this year. Don't feel that they are ready for the champions league
Did Falcao used 2 play 4 Porto?
yes

another disgrace to italian football. come on man, if you don't wanna play, just give that slot to other italian team.
I know, Lazio is making Serie A look bad
it's a shame because we still havent learned even after losing a place in the CL.
They don't care if they get knocked out so they can concentrate on the league (getting a CL spot)
I remember when Napoli fielded their 2nd string lineup last season because of a Serie A game coming up, it infuriated me.
No credit taken from Atletico but it's a shame we can't show alittle passion in this competition. A third place team at home should have gotten a draw out of this at the very least but another one bites the dust

This goes to prove that just because they aren't 1st or 2nd in La Liga doesn't mean they aren't good Valencia, Sevilla, Villareal, And Atletico Madrid are really good teams but Barca and Madrid are in a league of their own. I'm suprised at the result I thought it would have ended up a tie with Lazio being at home. Nice goal by Klose though.

Hopefully people start seeing the quality of La Liga teams now. Barcelona and Madrid would dominate any leauge in the world like they do La liga. This Is why I love la liga. Quality teams like Atheltic bilbao, Atheltico Madrid, Valencia, villareal, Sevilla, Levante etc. do much competition that the world doesnt see. La liga truly play beautiful football.

I usually agree with you, but... not so much in this case. Sure teams have good seasons, but afterward they get all their best players snatched up by bigger clubs (ie madrid & barca). For example: in 2007 sevilla was one of the best teams in europe. Then they lost dani alves, keita, and adriano to who? Oh right... barca. And where do you think sergio ramos played youth footy? You guessed it... sevilla.
I do think about that a lit. Like say if Valencia still had Villa, Mata, and Silva along with the players they have today. Theyd easily be a contender in the CL. Or if like you said Sevilla had players like Dani, ramos, Adriano, and Keita. The thing is just take a look at the talent thats constantly created in La liga. EPl's biggest names are from la liga. I also perfer the type of football played because its more tactical and technical than it is physical. To me its like a chess match just a much exciting one played with a football the coaches are fighting and imaginary fight with the other coach through their players. yes it might be slower but its nice to see what the coach is thinking happen on the field very interesting where as I see the EPL as very fast pace but nothing but physical ability is displayed with thetechnical abilities of forwards only shown
