What a goal by ronaldo! amazing strike and swerve. In england the ref would have blown as there was 2 balls on the pitch. Glad to see it count though :)

Can't believe the crap some United fans spout about Rooney vs. Ronaldo. LOL, I'd take Ronny any day of the week. If we have to trade Roo to get Ron back, I'd do it in a flash.

not as straight cut as that. For me ronaldo has been and gone at united. We moved on. Lets find the next ronaldo not pine for the old one. He always wanted to leave us for his 'dream' club Madrid. I think thats why a lot of united fans arent that bothered about him returning to OT. World class player but we have RVP now :)

I prefer to keep rooney anyway. He's homegrown (as in english), less selfish on the ball, tracks back, tackles and doesnt dive. Plus, like scholes etc i dont think he will want to go to another club. (All that crap the other year was to get a contract)

Several instances of poor sportsmanship in this match, and still an awesome master class by CR7! I was surprised Celta played on with a Madrid player down, then I was surprised by the babyish reactions of Mourinho and a couple RM players, then I was surprised by Sergio Ramos being a thug. Too bad. The game was still fun to watch.

Don't splash meaningless words like that, there was two moments when mourinho gets firious; the first one was an illegally disallowed goal(a decision that could change the game), the other moment also was a key decision when ronaldo get tackled from behind when he was one on one with the goalie(red card not given!!!!)

as a professional figure in one of the biggest clubs in the world with constant spotlight, he should be a little more composed and calm. it makes the club look silly. he already has a great record but he also casts a shadow on himself with his antics. 12 pts behind leaders, he shouldnt really show emotion it makes players and fans tense. in short yes he looks like a baby in a mans game.

Some say that Mourinho does that on purpose. So that media pays attention to him, and he is under constant spotlight. This helps take away some focus of the media and thereby pressure off of the players... After some time I guess it becomes a habit to be animated at everything...

I got all of the worlds respect for Cristiano Ronaldo. The guy plays his heart out every time and all he gets in return, is just plain and simple hatred. Last season is just an example of just that. At the start of 2011/2012 season, Ronaldo was being booed by Madrid fans, still he delivered on big games and set a La Liga record, the only player to score against every team in a League season in La Liga. CR7 ia just simply amazing footballer. Even though Cristiano hasn't won the Ballon DO'r in 4 years now, he is still coming back.
