Great match! Cant wait for the next leg!
nothing to loose for Inter! Second leg gonna be AWESOME!!!
If Inter pressured Bayern, they should have won by 2-0

Need to play at least with 2 strikers in the upcoming away match

bayern munchen should've won by more! internazionale arn't the team they used to be...
No kidding, "Das ist der LUCKY PUNCH????" no kidding...another word for the germans to absorb? Totally unnecessary plus it sounds stupid and corny.

lool, dude those higlights sucked

I also dislike these anglicisms in our language. It is a pity that these words have found its way into the German language :(

Well then how about 'Glücklicher Treffer'. Which would be the correct translation of lucky punch. But it doesn't have the same meaning anymore. For it to have the same meaning we would have to say 'Glücklicher Schlag' which in usage with football sounds stupid. That's more like Boxing there. Leaving all that rambling behind us, the DUDEN doesn't even recognize the term. Not German yet.
are you trying to say that this lucky punch word is an attempt to kind of hide the weak word "glücklicher"? Because the only thing i can see here is that to some degree using lucky punch is somewhat cooler and not as weak as "glücklicher Treffer". BTW using "Schlag" is kind of too literally, and "Treffer" which you suggested 1st was already sufficiently appropriate.
Yeah it's not German yet officially, but on the streets the kids are (ab)using even weirder use of english words. Well, it's hard to oppose such big influence plus the necessity to speak english, but i just hope that the germans would absorb the words appropriately and not turning it to a big joke.
Sure you could say it's a way to hide it. I'm not sure if you do know a lot of the German language, but to us English sounds always way cooler than German. It's mostly shorter, brings the point across and it sounds strong. Anyhow, we do use 'Glücklicher Treffer' occasionally in football. We say it when the ball luckily got into the goal, that for example wouldn't even happen after hundreds of tries. I would not describe it as a goal, like we've seen against Inter. This would be my reasoning for the 'Glücklicher Schlag.'

I have not yet heard too strange language from kids. The occasional cool, nice, looser, creepy, gay, trashy, bitch etc. Mostly language not associated with nice behavior. But this stuff always easily finds it's way into other languages. You would definitely not hear 'splendid' in an ordinary conversation. Alas, I can't remember German words in the English language like this, but I am sure there a quite a few too.

Perhaps it just sounds from you're point of view like a joke. When native English speakers say German words even in the correct manner, it still sounds stupid to us. Angst or bratwurst for example.

Wait, this is a football website right? :D
der verfickte Schleifchen-Spruch is langsam auch s**t
man, what a hard pill to take. Julio Caesar was really unlucky, he should have pushed that away from Gomez. Bayern played well, and were knocking on the door all game. But to say Inter played rubbish, or poorly is a really twisted statement. Eto'o was fantastic, and came really close a couple of times. Cambiasso should have finished from close range. It was just the frustrating story of the day. Our defense is not the same without the Samuel/Lucio partnership. That was phenomenal last season. Milito was out injured, and Pazzini is unable to play in champions league. I hate to feel like im making excuses, but we got a little trapped up front. Sneijder was simply not playing his best.

Now Ronnachia is out injured as well. We have had such an unlucky season with injury. it really is sad.

But all credit to Bayern. They were constantly threatening, and at times they retained control for long periods of time. Very well done.

And to all the people who are bashing italian football: that is simply not fair. It is different from english and spanish, but creating horrible stereotypes is unfair. Inter won the champions league last year, beating Bayern, Barcelona, and Chelsea (the three champions of their respective leagues).

It will be an interesting second leg. Hopefully full of exiting football - like this one was.

Cheers.

Forza Internazionale

Inter will bounce back
I just hope vG let's Altintop play instead of Ribery, the amount of balls he lost and the wrong passes have been horrendous... Don't get me wrong, Ribery is an amazing player but it seems he hasn't quite bounced back yet from his injury...
no no don't blame it on Leonardo it's clear the squad isn't as competitive as last year. We will need extremely good signings in the summers for us to go back to our old standards. Anyways good game Bayern. Respect for Julio Cesar you know he walked home after the match to reflect on his mistake.
what a time to get the winner
inter and bayen are still perfect..a beautiful game...

great game overall, alot of good chances for inter, they could have capitalized but, that goal from Gomez was a bullet in the side for Inter, man of the match: Robben

MOTM Robben? No way. Kraft.
Kraft? 84:35. Not good enough for me in any way.
you sure Kraft wasn't good enuff? I don't think Reina would get those shots away. But if you say so :p
lmao dude... KRAFT

unless you think 4-1 wouldve been a good result

ah that was simply Dortmund playing better, you can't really blame the Keeper if a goal scored against ur side, but when a goal did get blocked, you have to give a lot of credits. Inter deserved to at least get a draw or even win, but Kraft denied that. Against Dortmund, it was a totally different story. Your team's defence and mid could not handle Dortmund's pace and creativity. Dortmund owned Bayern, dude :p
skill is when luck gets habit
