Come on guys GET REAL 1.2 billion can't produce 11 players that can play football/soccer? They're too busy playing cricket and you know what the funny thing is? AUSTRALIA beats them in that too!!!!!!!!!

The answer? Communism

Worked for China, China might not be winning in football, but they won the most Gold medals last time in the Olympics.
india dont deserve to play in asian cup its a f##@king disgrace to asian football

Some reaaaaaally comprehensive highlights here! India didn't do too badly I thought. More experience will elevate their game and they seem to already have a really good goalkeeper :)

I don't think nether India or Australia played well at all. India needs a lot to learn!!! they don't know how to do line defense and it needs a coach to take care of the defense part. it just takes alot to be good team. the top team (even top 100 teams) have well balance national academy teams (u15, u16, u 17...). then they need a professional league. experience also is important for national teams.
Australia haven't been consistent since would cup, i think they gonna do fine in asian cup.

lmao.. very bold shatarunga
and we are off and running.. Korea will be the real test!
India's ranking 142 where Aussie's rank 26 in the world of football.

Almost after 20 years we have got the chance to play on the Asia cup.

I'm pleased with our 2nd half performance, and i can see new dawn of indian football if we can perform like that consistently, the scoreline should 3-1 for Aussie's.
I believe as Blatter said Chaina and India are the sleeping giants of Asian football.

@koreantorres95: i doubt it Korea might be in top of the table, but australia`s gonna win the trophie mate :) watch out!
Mukesh is a Nepali name too..
India need to come up with good goalkeeper who can communicate more effectively with defenders and be strong going for the ball.
Their keeper was the best part of their team. He had some amazing saves and put his body on the line.

I think u didn't see the whole match. If it were not for the Indian Goalkeeper (Subrata).... the scoreline would have been 8-0 or so. He was just superb and made a couple of very good saves.

I think the Indian team performed well, sure it was a loss, but i liked the defence they played, the attacking wasnt very good and i believe its due to the long ball tactic that India uses. Subrata Pal (Indian goal keeper) was brilliant as always!

I personally would say, if India can play quality opponents like Australia more often, they can really improve!
