messi ronaldo comparision is just crap cos both them play for diferent kind of teams..ronaldo is more kinda player who can make the game pacey and messi he can get ball through whole defence ..
both of them are great but cant be compared!!

okay let me get this staight 'cause Messi and Ronaldo have completely
different styles in the pitch now althogh they are both in the offensive end
-C. Ronaldo (second striker/centerforward)
has amazing physique and sprinting ability and amazing shooting
good with his feet so he doesn' easily gets the ball taken away easily unless he tries to beat a defender and fails (he's more of a dribble then just shoot type because of his ridiculous shot range and power)
He is a decent dribbler but more likely to use his physique and footspeed to pass by and when does pass by he goes "around" the defenders not like a world class pure dribbler such as Ronaldo or Messi who actually smoothly just go straight by them
-Messi (wing forward/shadow striker)
more technical than Ronaldo and just has the world's best touches with his feet (current best) in my opinion and not as fancy and strong as C. Ronaldo but he compensates with his speed plus agility and ball touches also quite frankly just to judge dribbling ability Messi is much better and he is good teamplayer when C. Ronaldo's playing style requires a bit of sacrifice from his teammates
This is just the gist of the differences.... they are both world class players but overall right now there is no one that brilliant with his touches like Lionel Messi plus he's younger and already basically won everything except the worldcup

Being special in one thing doesn't make you the best. Gerrard has a powerful and accurate shot, do that mean that he should be the best player?
Ronaldo? He owns the ball.
Both different players both best players, I would prefer Messi in a team that has Xavi, a Fabregas, someone that has that last pass and Messi just has to push the ball into the net, Ronaldo would fit more in a team that has two strikers, he being one of them
