Wow this could have been a tie, you can rip Blackpool but this team comes to play every week. I never really liked Craig Gordon, but he made some great saves. I really enjoy Blackpool, but that defense finally got exposed. Kieran Richardson sucks, the guy got lucky with those runs. He isn't your replacement for Bent, he will struggle eventually. Blackpool could have easily won with Charlie Adam being the most breakout player of the game. If DJ Campbell started ( he isn't that good, but the guy knows how to finish in the box) who knows what would have happened. Good game here, but Sunderland is lucky for 3 points.

I am just saying what I said. I actually enjoy Sunderland, Welbeck has been one of the more exciting players I have seen this season but without Craig Gordon, the game could have gotten ugly.

After going to the match yesterday 3000 sunderland fans saw just how disgusting Blackpool are, and just why they dont deserve to be in the league. In a nutshell, when they dont get the luck, they start to cheat. I lost count of how many times they dove in the box, and they eventually got a penalty for one of the most obvious dives of the last decade. As for Charlie Adam? Even Liverpool's £4million bid was TOO MUCH for him, overrated cheating scumbag, although he would fit in well with a fellow diving cheat by the name of Gerrard.

Great manager, woeful team, terrible stadium.

Even though it was a very good goal, it was unfair that Richardson scored after just incapacitating Eardley. But it is what it is. Good game nonetheless.

Ridiculous the game played on for that first goal by Henderson while Eardley was there with blood pouring out of his face... as Henderson kicked him in it! DJ might have missed loads of chances this season but think he was badly missed today by pool.

Really hope Adam doesn't get sold and Kingson doesn't have too bad an injury. Blackpool only need to snatch a few more points and it's another season in the prem for them which I'd love to see.

You sir, are an idiot. First off, it was Richardson who scored the goals for Sunderland. Also, it was Blackpools free kick after Eardley got split open, they played on. The game always plays on if someone is just getting stitched up anyway, there was no bad sportsmanship about it.
By the way Gordon.....f*****g legend!!

@Mvtaylor You forgot to say you how got it wrong about the bad sportsmanship issue as well as mixing the players names up. It was actually Blackpools free kick. But you were absoloutely spot on when you said you were silly. I think the dive towards the end for the penalty kick was bad sportsmanship, personally. I hope Blackpool stay up, I always love the underdogs. Just not by cheating.
