Wow rode our luck (understatement of the year) but being a blackpool fan for many years let me tell you we've had plenty of those 'just not gonna happen' kind of games. 8th doesn't really flatter us though, we've been consistent where as many other premier league teams just haven't. It's really open this year, 40 points might not be the golden number this time around but if it is we're 15 point away and i think thats very doable. well done boys, hard luck sunderland but you'll bounce back. Think at the end of the year if you gave both sets of supporters 8th and 7th they'd have definitely taken it. UTP

Might get alot of stick for this but i dont give a monkey. Gyan is one on the best all round strikers in the world! He is 10 x better than Bent and a hell of alot better than most strikers in the EPL! So as for Bpool fan who thinks his little crappy team is better, we will wait to see at the end of the season, when you are fighting a relagation battle. It hurts trust me, been there alot.

Does anyone know whether the teams receive money for what place they come in the league? I guess it depends on the sort of sponsorship they have. If Ian Holloway got given some money I think he could really excel. Well done Blackpool!
