ozil missed at least two clear chances to score against Australia and couldn't score again when he was one on one with the keeper but if he keeps on scoring crackers like this one then i don't mind those misses.

Werder Bremen are going to have a tough task ahead of them. i would be surprised if nobody puts in a big money offer for him. i haven't seen him play for his club but he is always performing for Germany.

Germany v England is going to be a tough match up. might i say penalties?

Then you've clearly seen very few games of Werder Bremen. in the first half of last season, he was THE man.
I already heard Man. City and Barcelona put an eye on him... Özil hasn't extended his contract in Bremen which runs out in 2011... After this WC we will see where the destiny takes him. :D Hopefully before that, he wins with the German Squad the World Cup ^^

oh my god...how on earth did ghana not win this game! they seriously need a striker! they only scored twice in three games (2 penalties^^)it s funny how germany never get s punished for their bad footy. and now they celebrate that italy lost today...you should read the insulting comments on eurosport.de.

germany didnt play bad yesterday...just the defence was horrible, mainly mertesacker. Also just because some may show extreme hate towards italy, they dont speak for the masses!

The Germans made it no matter if they deserved it or not. That's football and that's why it is the greatest sport on earth.
I'm really looking forward to the game on Sunday. The English did a great job on the last game. This match is a classic.

i didnt say they dont deserve it! serbia was disappointing too and australia messed it up in their first game. i just said they played poorly, which was obvious.
