Gerrard is getting old. He is a Talisman in the team, but comon...hes already doing good for his age now but you gotta admit he cant be like before. Hes more of a Morale booster now.

Did kind of tear your side apart. If we don't go down to 10 for a bullshit decision, United are fighting for air the whole match. I am not saying we would have won the match, you never know in football. But we were ripping you to shreds, in large part because of Gerrard. So I think he is more than a morale booster. He is a world class midfielder. His form may not be as consistent anymore, but in those big matches, there are few better than Stevie. This is without taking into consideration his leadership abilities and just considering him as a footballer.
