How good is Spain's run???! Check out this great read: http://www.gymclassallstars.com/2012/07/standing-ovation-spanish-national.html
who gives a shite about spain...here it is about italy and germany you mong.
balotelli is the worst player i have ever seen. His fundamentals are alright, but it is the fact that every once and a while he will have an above average game, as well as the fact that his celebrations say "i am the greatest in the world." he is so arrogant and not even half as good as he makes himself out to be. his attitude is annoying
+3
Eh listen,R u saying that Balotelli is not a great Striker?

do u know anything about Football YOU ignorant????
+4
all he's saying is he doesn't like balotelli's arrogance... and that he really isn't the best striker in the world - just a great one, like you said sergio
Um no..he said "balotelli is the worst player i have ever seen" which is dumb
+4
@Pudo3792 i think you're stupid, and maybe you didn't watch the same game we all did. Besides he's only 21, now imagine him in a couple of years.
+1
he has great skill for his age however in a couple of years his ego will be too big to fit on the pitch if he does not change...
+1
you must be blind and not very intelligent too. he is amongst the best strikers in the world. and how old is he again...
To BadTripRich, wow, thanks to you we are talking now about pizza. You are absolutely right all this is getting out of context. Good job. The Andrea Pirlo story by the way is an answer to Albokk's comments if you further scroll down. And yes corruption and game fixing is always associated with Italy like mafia and pizza! I am so sorry if those facts are insulting to you. Naming me Waterboy shows your class. To the future!
The day has came when all the football buds will be on either Spain or Italy side but alas the flag of Italy will rise today and till another 4 years Italy will going yo win(insalh)
Nope, they wont ^^
italys gonna win it now ,hard team to beat in a final . im starting to like this rule bending mario he like f*ck the system everytime (BOSS) ,sayin that hope he dont perform next season
hummels was solid all euro, cassano toyin with him was precious
To Chriszz, you obviously don't know how arrogant Italian fans are! Especially when they won against Germany. They know how to add salt to the wound, they do trust me. I understand that you don't like Germans fans, most people don't like us. I am used to it because one of my best friends is English. Keep cheering for the Italians and against us Germans forever, if you get to know the Italians closer or do business with them you might change your mind after a while when you have been stabbed in the back several times. We are sore looser because we lost to Italy and not because we didn't get to the final. Probably the same feeling when you loose against Germany. Italy is a great football nation but I can't respect match fixing being rewarded again. And yes it was all about Germany and Spain but it was mostly the media that was responsible for the hype and winning 15 competitive matches in a row. The hype is gone and Germany can start again from scratch to prepare for 2014 we have again a very young team and therefore future. Believe it or not I like the Dutch a lot mostly because they can beat the sh*t out of Italy. We can't beat them so lets hope our neighbors can do it for us again in the future. To the future!

"you obviously don't know how arrogant Italian fans are!" change italian with german and you got it right. sorry keep BS is not going to help , people read the news ...

"They know how to add salt to the wound," What do you except after talking crap for days against them.

"Keep cheering for the Italians and against us Germans forever, if you get to know the Italians closer or do business with them you might change your mind after a while when you have been stabbed in the back several times"
WHAT??? this is FOOTBALL leave you personal vendettas behind we dont want hear it. i might hate german team but is not like i hate germans!! WTF??

Oh my, we are guilty and you guys innocent. Victims, etc. always innocent Italia. Andrea is a female name in Germany and around the world, sorry that is just a fact. Beckmann and Scholl are a shame for Germany and I have to feel sorry for you that you had to listen to them. I had the pleasure of watching it on ESPN and ITV. If you are so graceful and don't hate the Germans why do you hit us when we are down. You just stated that you can't even know how it might feel when the Germans beat the Italians in an important match. Because it didn't happen in the near past. So you don't have a clue how it feels when you guys rub it in. And here is the biggest difference, the insulting of Italians from Germans happen before or during the match. You guys keep insulting us even after you have won the match and that is the lack of class. It was a close and a good game and we respected and accepted the loss. That is why we won't kick you when you might be down one day and Germany should somehow win against Italy.
Dear Bedel, I manage a Canadian medical diagnostics company and I do business with both Italy AND Germany (and the U.S. for that matter) on a daily basis.

You have absolutely no idea what you are saying. Nobody has ever stabbed me in the back. Stop referring to Scorcese movies where the premise of the entire film is corruption.

The absolute rubbish that you are referring to about "kicking down" and "insult you" and so on.. Let us begin by you re-reading your blog about the Italians being "arrogant" and "Andrea is a girls name" (what the hell does that even mean? It's a different culture you child!). But let's forget about your insignificant self and focus on your media calling Italians "nothing but pasta, pizza and mafia" continuously before the 2006 beating and the 2012 beating.. These people are supposed speak for the country and they have the audacity to attack a culture because of their fear for a sport? AND YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT CLASS? At least the Italians are only focusing on the sport and not on your terrible cuisine.

And can you honestly tell me that you do not enjoy pizza? I, for one, certainly do. God bless pizza. And pasta for that matter.

Now that these completely irrelevant points has been settled, perhaps we can steer clear of your obvious prejudice/animosity towards Italians and focus on the sport. hence "footy"tube.. not childish, premature-ejaculation, sour loser tube.

The fact is simple, Germany have never beaten Italy. Period.

Twist it as you would like, analyze the "game fixing" (what a joke you are) as you please, disregard Pirlo's first name (my god you are a laughing stock) but the cookie crumbles in the exact same fashion. you lose.

So congratulations to the Germans for coming a very long way. They have a great team with a great future. But you certainly do not reflect the character and strength of the German national team. You couldn't even be the water boy.

Imagine what that would make you on the Italian national team.

Good luck to Italy and Spain. It will be a sensational final and end to Euro 2012.

Forza Azzurri.

And as for salt in the wounds, who are you trying to convince that if Germany would ever beat Italy that they would not rub it in?

I guess we'll never know.

Rivalries whether personal or cultural exist at every level. Name me a country that another country doesn't have bitter feelings towards? Chile/Argentina, Arg/England, England/France, Germany/Europe (i kid lol)

you get my point. Relax guys, there is nothing better than a healthy rivalry as long as its all in good fun. Otherwise its just stupid hateful s**t and then... well... good job for proving evolution wrong lol

I agree!

http://sports.bovada.lv/sports-betting/euro-2012.jsp
to be honest i like that germany lost, not because of the german team itself
but more because of their arrogant fans.
because you luckily beat portugal, and won vs netherlands who are completely out form you all thought you guys were the best.
all the german fans who thought they were going to win for sure this time they were so arrogant they thought they could just beat this italy team without any problem.
every german was just talking about the germany-spain final ahahaha i love it.
suck it up germany you didn't win anything again
WHAT THE f**k. Yes, us arrogant pricks. Which Tabloid started this s**t?
+3
you mispelt sportscasters you ignorant piece.the media hyped up germany because of the 15 consecutive wins
+1
@Chrizz what are you smoking dude! scour around for the world's biggest football forums Germany is easily ranked as the favourite alongside Spain.

We lost to Italy not because we are not good enough! It was due to strategic and defensive error
+1
you got wrecked by Italy! not bcs of strategic errors but because you are not even close to as good as you think you are!
Wow, and that statement is coming from an Englishman: Not even close to as good as you think you are! Remind you of anyone? Could you imagine how English fans and the English press would react if England would have broken the the world record and win 15 consecutive competitive games and winning the group of Death before a semifinal vs Germany for example?
I can!
The pass on Ballotelli second goal was kinder similar to the one in the England game, he had more time on this goal though, the defender didn't have enough time to recover like Terry did in the England game to block Ballotelli shot.
Well put, Claudiozaffuto! I'm tired of hearing about this or that team "deserving" more from a game they lose, in this competition and elsewhere. It's as if the only metric that decides games (scoring goals) suddenly doesn't matter when it comes to one's home team. Greece demonstrated this truth in stark fashion against Russia: one well-taken shot is all it takes to win if your opponents don't have the stones to do the same, no matter how much possession they have or chances they make. (Nevermind that this wasn't the case at all in the semi-final, as Italy kept taking it to the Germans until the last 15 minutes before closing shop.)

"But if Germany had converted some of their chances, they could have won it!" Right, e se mia nonna avesse ruote, sarebbe una carriola.
Germany and Bayern have these so call ''big players'' but no silverware to show for it.
Just a matter of when not how nor what simply because Germany and Bayern are 2 great teams.which are capable of winning trophies
or not! lol
In defeat you can show grace! So as Germans we must stay humble and respectful.
Italy will be the European champion because they had the betting scandal and peaked at the right time. The good news for us Germans is that they won't get through the group stages in Brazil.
Remember Bella Italia history repeats itself. Germany can't beat Italy and Italy usually fails to deliver a good performance after they won a title. Unless you have another scandal about manipulation games and Italian players in jail, which of course should be rewarded again. The future is bright for us and Balotelli will be your hero and downfall. Ciao!

^ emotions still running high after 2 days? lol this makes the victory so much sweeter
Wow, you guys have class. Your newspapers call our Chancellor Vaffan Merkel and Culona. We have to give you money in addition to all of this. Wow, this must taste very sweet. I have to say I am jealous for the sweetness of your drink. Mine is now extremely bitter. Enjoy it who cares about class.
+2
"Wow, you guys have class." TROLOLOL are kidding me ?? dont get me get started how german newspapers started making "fun" of andrea pirlo saying he looks like a girl and the people who are called andrea in germnay are girls. Oh and lets not forget the classy couple Reinhold Beckmann and Mehmet Scholl who called balo and cassano "streetdogs" after first half . again we have kicked you arrogant ass in 1970 , 1982 , 2006 and now 2012 with two days less rest and with injured defenders and last time you won was in 1995 in a FRIENDLY LOL.i dont even care if we win the finale mission is already accomplished C YA deutschland!
+1
@Albokk: The experience @ Euro 2012 makes us even greater.

wow 0-4 in the Final you set the records!
and now imagine how high Germany would have lost :P my guess at least 6-0
Totally DIDN'T see that coming!
Germany were so disappointing, they never even looked liked scoring apart from a mix up in the Italian defence at the start. I'm not sure why Reus didn't start frankly, he played great against Greece. Balotelli's goal was awesome and Prandelli deserves credit for gambling on players that other managers are afraid to pick like Balotelli and Cassano, and those players have rewarded him. Here's hoping that Italy go all the way now, hopefully they will at least push Spain hard.

how come Khedeira saw the handball in the penalty area a few moments before it happened???
Wicked!!!
handball twice by two different players
