I wouldn't call that revenge, a los of newbies on the german side. Besides, in friendlies we almost never win ^^
Only when it matters we give it all. it was no penalty for Australia but still good win. If that makes us even, then well :D

Interesting point there by the commentator. Australia are indeed a physical side and if you don't show them that respect and approach the game with a discipline and resilience, one may find themselves more than a little surprised as Germany were on this occasion.
