I'm a huge Germany fan, but it looks like they got handled by The Messis... i don't know what Loew is gonna do with the roster, too many good offensive players and not enough depth defensively
i was there! i was sitting with the german fans and when when di maria scored i was the only one clapping and everyone was looking at me like wtf?!

this is just a friendly, it could be different when these two teams played in WC 2014 later..
Argentina is playin a bit Spain-ish these days, am I the only one who noticed??
one thing haters gotta think about is, when is the last time you said "wow that germany game was boring". perhaps it happens but i love watching germany play cuz its always a good game. can't say that about any other european powerhouse, only brazil and argentina (for very different reasons) are as enjoyable to watch on a consistent basis
Germany are a great team but seem to have problems dominating friendlies, but then do really well when it matters - in qualifying and tournaments. England do it all the other way round lol
Germany still look stronger
Di Maria @ 10.5 on dreamfooty? sold.
vamoooo campeon..ive been waiting for this result since germany2006.. too Bad its just a friendly..
Remember everyone - this was a FRIENDLY. Put Argentina vs Germany in the WC and it's a whole different ball game with a much tighter tempo, less free-flowing and relaxed attitudes. These are just games to keep team unity and compatibility up so when in a few years the world cup comes around again they're not complete strangers to each other having no idea how to play as a team.

Am just so happy that they played like Barcelona :)

Di Maria
Loew is so bad
who else should be coach?
Loew has got Germany to at least the semi finals of every major tournament since taking over. Maybe only Del Bosque could boast a better record.
couple nice goals by argentina but you cant really draw any conclusions (for either team) from this game. germany played with 10 men for over an hour
im waiting for the next worlds greatest article after messi's oh so great performance in this friendly.

^hater
how did khedira and ozil do for you?
@Juve170
Just imagine Germany's 1st team against Argentina's, Argentina would get s**t on. But Argentina played a good game and are starting to look up.

^agreed. super hard to play a man down against a team with a front line like argentinas and not lose
how did Di Maria get that on target!? sensational.

Messi kind of sucks at penalties now, maybe he's still out psyched by Peter Cech from three months back.
i love seein shots from distance stay on target! nothin worse than a professional who cant keep his shot down.
and yea messi should DEFINITELY not be taking his teams penalties anymore. that was a terrible terrible shot. ter stegen read him like a book and it was such a slow shot i could practically read the adidas label on the ball haha

Id love to hit you both with a brick.

STAND YOUR GROUND. and messi shouldnt be taking penalties. if he wasnt messi the coach wouldnt let that dude shoot any more of em because that was a TERRIBLE shot
Bro Messi missed a penalty and you're making a big deal over it, remember Messi scored 83 goal in one season for club and country, nobody else ever achieve such heights.
