Watching: Harry Gregg was probably one of the few true friends George had outside his family during his life. In his autobiography, 'Harry's game', the goalkeeper wrote about his contryman: We were sitting in a quiet corner and I asked why he didnt show the world the real George Best. He asked what I meant. I told him he knew excactly what I meant. George paused, then looked at me and said: Its too late, Greggy. They see me as they want to see me.

epic, such a touching video. 5/5 - the choice of music in these videos are crucial and this was spot on. messi is overrated, if you want to see technique, dribbling and ball controll look no further. I wish I could have seen him in action, really do. one of the greatest and this is a fantastic tribute

i thought i had seen every george best tribute there was to see, but this one is the best i have ever seen, by a street.
had a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye watching that, and i would like to thank whoever compiled the video, and the choice of music was ideal.
hope all the young footytubers, no matter who they support watch this, see how real footballers played, and bestie topped the lot, past and present.

ps, i did see george play for utd once against crystal palace, utd won 4-1..1971 i think it was, and bestie had a stinker, which was very unusual,i think the scorers were kidd2 law,charlton..i was about 12yrs old at the time.
and i seen him a few times for northern ireland.
ive been hooked ever since.
