it was pretty much the youth squad playing.

Was really impressed by Altintop here - could've gone over and won a cheap pen or FK a few times but stayed strong and showed great integrity both technically and as a professional. Respect to him, wish we could swap him for Young.

Anyone else think Buttner made a case for himself as LM? Given our winger crisis and our diamond still looking a bit awkward I reckon he's worth a try. One of few in our squad willing and able to push forward. He's dutch too, so perhaps that could help him linking-up with RVP.

United weren't rubbish you have to take in to account how young the team was. Both teams played great in the end but Galatasary deserved the win.

We played great up until the substitutions. We defended well and kept good possession, reducing the home team to shooting from distance and to set pieces. We lost but i am happy with the performance. wouldn't mind seeing a similar team put out at the weekend.

Fully agree. We looked a bit lost once the subs were made, didnt have the proper personelle to run the 4-4-2 maybe? We didnt really stretch them at all, and had less control in the central midfield areas with the loss of a cm in ando's substitution.

I was impressed with cleverley buttner jones danny and powell until he got tired. We have a lot of quality, but still struggle with creating a lot of ccc and taking those chances with this narrow formation, but the performance was very promising..if only we could figure out a way to make a hybrid 4-4-2 wide and diamond system to give us width but also control central areas with ando and cleverly free to attack through the middle and fletcher/carrick shielding the defense.

we were great especially on team defence.Maybe manu reserved their main players but there were so many young and talented players as well.3 points was crucial for us.Nice to hear cluj beat braga.Finally altintop usually hit the pole.I wonder when he is able to go beyond poles.:)

Great performance by our youngsters. Very proud for the likes of Powell, Jones and King amongst others:) Unlucky for Powell not to score. What a fairytale it would have been!

Again, you're another one of those people who doesn't have a clue why United is so successful! We have playmakers all over the place.
And as for your comment about Rooney and RVP, every team needs a couple of clinical finishers/ world class players.
And are you joking, this was a pretty young team, this game doesn't matter, and we can now concentrate on the league!

I only refered to u as a retard because your initial comment is completely immatured and baseless we have already qualified and are topping our group our youngstars were given a chance and would have learnt a lesson or two playing galatasaray away is tough because of the hostility created by the home fans and without the main starting 11 makes it a way lot tougher so think about it before judging our team

Ps we dnt need goetze or eriksen we got a classy player like kagawa shame hez injured
