Was Fulhams day.
Dempsey's an ordinary player and very selfish. Andy Johnson's done the hard work and send him the ball for Dempsey to tap in from the goal line and then he goes on to celebrate like he scored a cracker from 35 metres instead of thanking Johnson and celebrating with him like a classy player. Second goal nice touch Dempsey but he should thank Ryan Shawcross for being an idiot. If I was a manager, a player like Shawcross wouldn't be playing in the PL but somewhere like Scunthorpe because that's what he's good enough for. Anyone who ever said Shawcross for England should find a different sport to get into. And for Dempsey, well done for the goals but people don't be fools. You watch Dempsey in a full 90 minute game and then you'll realise what he's about. I'm very happy for A Johnson, he seems to be getting back to his best slowly, Well Done!
dont hate dempsey's a g and to be honest people only really care about the goalscorer in soccer the one supplying the assist always gets overlooked

I can't stand Stoke, sucha boring team. It's just all long balls and hoping someone can do something. Nice win for Fulham, but I still think their a pretty dull team. I can't wait for Zamora to come back, he is great to watch. Duff finally had a good game, he is great to watch along with Dempsey.

Dont watch it then
believe me I don't it's just the highlights are boring. Only time I watched them is when they played Spurs and Bale made his goal of the year claim with that beautiful axe kick.
stoke is crap- get relegated already!

f**k off Munich
incredible touch by dempsey, too bad he got dragged down. if he put that away it would have reminded me of bergkamps goal against newcastle i think

some what but not even close really
leave it to an arsenal fan to get all defensive about bergkamps goal

Great performance by Fulham!
They really are deserving of a better position in the table than they are....
I would just like to point out how amazing Dempsey's touch was just before the penalty...He controls it and does a 180...AMAZING!

oh his way down my ass!

...that sounded bad. but anyway! i don't think dempsey could've stayed on his feet if he wanted to with that giant sack of english meat hitching a ride on his back.
dempsey was awesome and every day that he scores is a good day as far as im concerned but he would never be there if it wasnt for Brian McBride, people seem to lose sight of that on occasion.
so what does that matter? that mcbride should be brought up every time dempsey is mentioned?

because Brian McBride gave Americans credibility in the EPL, i mean its no coincidence that they played on the same team now is it? nor is the fact that the amount of Americans in the league has grown since Brian McBride played there.

John Harkes may have been the first, but Brian McBride was the one to solidify the American contingent in England, so thats why he's relevant.

Reyna was before mcbride and if you follow us soccer he was better then mcbride too.
yes, Reyna was there before McBride but i think you're comparing apples to oranges there...midfielder vs. striker. Yes Reyna was capt of the national team (and deservedly so) but McBride outscored him in both the Premier League and international competitions. Not to mention McBride holds the record for most goals by an American in the EPL.

And if it sounds like I have a man-crush on McBride, then so be it!
the touch earned the pk

Don't mess with Texas.....cuz you'll just end up with a penalty and get yourself sent off, haha

the two best american (outfield) players in england are from Texas, makes me proud.
stuart holden is technically from scotland...and saying that he's the second best american outfield player isnt really much of a compliment considering your only other options are eddie johnson, eric lichaj and jonathan spector (and jermaine jones as of the other day)
debbie downer eh?

have you heard stuart holden speak? talk about who he identifies with more?
i dont care about where hes technically from, hes grown up and started his career in houston...if you ask him in person what he identifies himself as he would say hes texan/american. thats why he plays for the US and not for scotland
fair enough!
Don't mess with Dempsey or else!
