How did Fulham not get a penalty for that shirt tug..another man united perk. Great redemption by Hangeland and awesome keeping by the fulham man.

Being a defensive minded player in real life i always watch defenders closesly, in that game i watched Hangeland and he had a great game, he isn't the fastest defender but he makes up for it with his tackling ability. He gets very close to the attacker as soon as they recieve the ball so that they aren't able to turn and run at him. This is an extremely hard skill to master and can be very costly if you close an attacker down quickly and they turn you. So its very important to get the tackling right and he was spot on.

We still need a midfield playmaker as scholes will not get through every game this season. On top of that, aside from his goal, he didn't look too strong in the middle of the park. Fulhams midfield ran over us many a time and if a midfield with Etuhu is doing that, then we need to improve. Should have taken Berba off and should have brought Nani on sooner. Scholesy should have taken the penalty too, even though it wasn't a penalty. Bring on the hammers!

It was a good match. We still feel Ferdinand's absence in the middle. In his reign no ST could come up with a header in the box. The game is on though. We're going for Championship and we will get it.

NICE match, Fulham. Very nice. It's always fun to see that smirk melt off of Fergie's face. Where was Dempsey the whole match? At forward and seemingly absent?

This game is just an early bump in the road for United.
