Considering Frances football pedigree, I must say Chinas shape was phenomenal. A very uniform game plan that was successfully executed, however I don't expect the drought in France to last much longer.

China deserves to win this, people might say they were lucky but in football you need luck on your side in order not to lose a match, so in this case China got the luck that was a superb freekick some people may criticize that ball due to its lightness but that was a superb effort China defended brilliantly. France however dominated through out the whole match but failed to score, this proves that if you fail to take your chances you might end up being punished at the other end

Okay I want to ask a question and just let me know what you think.

How many times in any of the friendlies have you seen Anelka take a shot at goal? Our is he somewhere in the midfield being a midfield player? Why is it that France's defender is the one to get head or foot to ball to even try to get a goal for France?

France's right side is weak. Govou I just want to know what he is doing sometimes......

I think the problem is Domenech in every match is not taking options and starting different players to feel out the positions which I feel he should do because when he makes subs there is a difference. Take off Anelka....

It bothers me that the striker is not taking shots at goal while everyone from defender to midfield is. What is worse he does not have a heart the heart of an striker. At one point in the match I asked why don't Ribery and Anelka switch places because that would surely be better than watching Anelka crowd himself in the middle all day. I think he should have started Cisse or Gignac.
