why couldn't porto perform like this in the second leg?
they did, we just performed better, and didnt throw the goal into our own net...
Wow. If you look exactly when the clip is at exactly 10:41 the refs hand goes up before the ball even crossed the line. Just L O L
... porto got luck !!! what does that means ? it means once again a portuguese club beat one of those call unbeatable in this case ... arsenal like others this season in the europa league , benfica 5-0 everton and everton 0-2 benfica or sporting lisbon knock out everton whit 3-0 in lisbon ... after everton have beat them for 2-1 draw arsenal winning manchester utd and chelsea ... everyone was expecting them to crush sporting but that wasn`t what happen , coz numbers speak for themselfs , everton took 8 goals in lisbon ... agaist 2 clubs from a league that the english didn`t learn to respect yet , so keep going coz football its full of surprises ... and thats why we all love it ...
True that...let's see what happens in the return match! Should be good fun to watch :)
Listen the ref was really weird on that call but ALL of that could have been avoided if Fabianski didn't pick up the back pass. Am I getting through to you people at all?
This game was complete BS. First off Arshavin was out along with Alumnia. And secondly the referees were horrible. I'm sorry but that call out of the box was ridiculous. And then Porto just tapped it in! Complete BS from the refs and i'm sure we'll see a much stronger result from Arsenal at home in the Emirates Stadium. They know they need a positive result, and i think they'll produce some good stuff. Go Arsenal!
ahh not the greatest game from arsenal.
k i understand that that is a foul, but i don't get how that is a free kick... THAT IS A PENALTY!!
Terrible refereeing. I'm unsure how anyone, regardless of the team they support, could disagree with that. Keeping was terrible too, but all of his good parts, were undone by the poor refereeing.
horrible display by the ref
Fabianski had a bad day..the ref too
WORST REF EVER!!! He put up his arm before Porto even scored
Porto got lucky....Arsenals better overall, but good game porto FC...,.
Everyone's talking about the ref, but if you were at the stadium and saw the whole match, you'd realize that many of Porto's "fouls" were just because of the Arsenal players reaction. You could see the referee looked at them and if they rolled on the ground or asked for a foul the referee would usually do it. Rosicky and the second goal were probably the only exceptions.
im irish and also an arsenal fan. they should totally expel that referee. he is so bad. i personally think fabianski is better than almunia, but i think vito manonne is better than both of them.
I don´t think Fabianski is better than Almunia, but Vito def has my vote too!! Although, Wenger would have to be pretty bold to throw him between the posts at this point in the season.
shocker from fabianski. the refs decision is controversial yes, but its a clear backpass and arsenal just switched off and it is a legal goal sadly
