And words cant describe the goal by Robbin, oh like a wind he kept going crazy passed the defense on the right and the volley... watch that goal again and you will see Ribery before taking the corner instructing robbin to move back and take the spot, ball flies from the kick all the way across and bammm into the corner. But the icing on the cake was the classic celebration of Robbin asking the supporters to increase the volume.

unfortunately chicharito not big enough player to save united...a great prospect no question but as a team united had enough to see off basel. seriously. no excuses.

^Idk about that..he scored some amazing game winners for united already in his short time with them..there were a couple plays in this game where nani or giggs would send in passes inside the box and no one would run for it..that's where you notice chicharito's movement was deff missing. but yeah united's problems a bigger than scoring at the moment.

No, there is absolutely no excuse for United to lose this game. Especially when they have that amount of experience and a manager of that caliber. They knew the gravity of the situation they were in and while they played well in small periods their minds were visibly not on the prize. Chicharito could have done little about that because he would have probably had a similar approach as the rest of the team. Basel on the other hand played like any team in that situation should have played – solid.

Chivas7, please stop hoping one guy will do the job. What is with people in Mexico treating him as the greatest striker. This is Champions league not MLS; Chicharito is good but he is not there with the best. All I see him do is wait for single touch goals into a wide open goal area.
