Messi's goal was offside, still dersvred to win, marevelous peformance for Barcelona, won 2-0 anyway, Fab should be happy he was scored an winning goal in a final for his boy hood club, what an dream that is YNWA! As for Porto... maybe not too bad, great strike from Hulk at the begining :L

porto was good to reach the Uefa super cup finls but not good enough to beat the UEFA champions.....

barcelona is becoming more dangerous with team, and now with sanchez and fabre on the bench the have got no problems for xavi and iniesta leving the team.....

Messi was good as always but porto also showed good game.....

and yeah... Finally fabre got what he wanted !!!!

A lot of people hatin on messi, don't see how anyone could dislike this guy, he is an absolute joy to watch. In my opinion he is technically better than any footballer that has played the game including maradonna and pele. The only thing that will stop messi from becoming the greatest ever is if he doesn't win a world cup, it will always be held against him, I personally don't think he needs to. Barcelona as a collective are a great team with great players, but there is no denying that messi makes the difference. If argentina can find a couple of creative midfielders, so messi dosen't have to play so deep, and play as a play maker, and just play in and around the box, well then he'll do the for argentina what he does for barcelona, I have no doubt. Good game though and porto played well.

People don't hate messi, they are just trying to explain that he appears useless outside Barça (aka, with Argentina). You say it yourself, Barça is a collective of talented players. So stop giving all the credit to Messi.

I'm actually not giving all the credit to messi, what I'm saying is that messi is the player that makes the difference, and I disagree he's useless for Argentina, he was there best player in the world cup and copa america, the problem is that he plays a completely different role for Argentina than he does for barca. Argentina only have defensive midfielders, no creative midfielders, messi is filling this role. If Argentina want messi to do the same for them well then the need to let him play in his usual role.

well I respect all his skills hes great...but He's always potryed as an angel when he's always doing something stupid hitting a fan with a ball, cursing at an entire country (like he did with Bolivia), spitting at another player,and when Real Barca play he's always in the middle of the fight ...Ronaldo is never in them yet he's always look at as a bad guy....

I think your exaggerating there a bit, nobody is angel, but I think messi over all show's a great temperament considering how much he's kicked and hacked, for example a porto player was pulling his jersey and he just kept trying to run. I could count on one hand the amount of confrontations messi has been in, considering how much he's fouled. And we all know nobody is perfect, but over all he seems like a pretty humble guy. I think what it really comes down to, is that there a lot of people that hate on messi, because he is so good, and improving, at the moment nobody can touch him, and it's that simple, real, united, or whoever else doesn't like him can make as many excuses as they like.

good game, porto did very well imo, both teams were great, the only thing that was bad about it was, how close were we to be playing this match? oh well, congrats to barca, well played.
