important win for everton
Everton's third goal was a free gift. Absolutely rubbish in defense for Wigan. Shame on y'all.
Omg we just get worse n worse, we lack quality all over the pitch, martinez using wrong tatics, i like what martinez has tried to do with the team but the players are not skillfull enough to do it, we cant pass a ball when its out of our own half, we lack almost any attacking options.
I been watchin wigan for over 20 years and i have not seen them this bad even when we was in the old 4th division, time to change manager he has had long enough and we going backwards. I dont mind watching us lose when we play well but we just arent.
On a positive note i wanna say well done everton but dont get too ahead of urselfs u only beat wigan not man city.
I hope you get rodallega back soon, wigan fought hard and moyes had to make changes to force the win. I think wigan will stay up
Good win for us but we need to start with strikers!! Cahill up front on his own doesn't work.

Good result for the blues, plenty of positive performances from the players, our season is up and running
Velios and drenthe are going to play a big part for the blues this season. Top 7 again i think
Everton are a good side but they could struggle but they do have quality players that can do the hard work for them. I dont think they will be relegated though no chance of that happening.

And whats the deal with Di Santo? He cant score a goal unless it takes a deflection? lol
Awesome game! Everton fans were going crazy after Drenthe scored

I love ricky drenthe i was happy when i heard everton got him on loan.
I hope they make the move permenant cause he has alote to offer everton or any other with high aspirations.

David Moyes is a miracle worker. Full stop.
dissapointing from our point for view, i think we could have gotten a point. great cross and header for evertons 2nd goal.

hope hugo gets better soon!
Go Greek!!
Dude is a STUD. Drenthe is hot soup as well - I wanna see Gueye this week in the Carling Cup, he's like a French Drenthe. That sounds dirty
Great game for Everton, great finishes, good win at home, tough one for Wigan, but good stuff
What a win for Everton!!They might be in the top 4 no one knows!!Who knows maybe if the final standing will be like this (top 5)

1.Manchester United
2.Manchester City
3.Chelsea
4.Everton
5.Liverpool

No strikers

Not necessarily, if we perform to the best of our ability, I honestly believe we're better than most sides. The problem is depth, mainly because of injuries and suspensions...I actually think we can achieve a lot this term. I'm excited about our new look, despite the lack of transfer activity. If they realize their potential they can be a force. I think Vellios will be boss by the way; really great to see how overwhelmed and proud he felt after his goal.

Yeah I saw a bit of Velios in pre-season and he looked good in the air big and strong and has decent feet. We may not have great depth or striking options but there's goals in Drenthe, Coleman, Gueye, Cahill, Velios and hopefully Straqulosi. Ossie seems to be on a good run of form and Barkley looks a real talent. Hopefully Saha calms down a bit and starts putting in some shifts too.

There's more to football than finance.

wheres tottenham? spurs have a deep squad i think they can finish top 4
@ swolf depth is absolutely crucial i like everton and their squad but i think a top 4 would be over achieving a wee bit
Everton finally starting pretty good, they might make top 6 who knows.
