Robben is amazing.
Ashley is really getting some legs underneath him, this time next season he should be a beast
Robben's 2nd goal as one of the goals of the week? ... it was deflected! :P
I love robben, amazing player but he screws over all my favourite teams! United 2 years ago and then England (though it was only a friendly).
no hating on england no worries mate...they are just clueless
no hate here buddy, but england just really are not good, there is just too much hype when it comes to them, and the team itseld is not outstanding...and yes holland take friendlies really casual....lol
Just feel fortunate that holland currently has a great team. You know nothing.
although england have a superior team-sheet but their teamwork is not great... netherlands looked more dangerous and deserved the win... no one can stop robben when he is having a good day
truth be told, holland never got into 2nd gear and never needed to.and then scored, just for fun when they needed to at the end.there is always hype with england, but they are rubbish, full squad or not....not one of the english players is world class, not even rooney, good enough for the english maybe but definatley not for the world!

Yasserf please dont start a nation football hate comment LOL. I felt the Dutch played rather laid back and not-so-entertaining football then. If you notice in friendlies, usually the Dutch let in soft goals after they cruised, shows their seriousness in friendlies!! Remember Hol 5 Belgium 5 ?

Not trying to find excuses for Holland not playing well or not winning matches in friendlies. But the difference these men made in EC, WC are extreme compared to exhibitions.

England is not a worthless team, in my view they are the most unpredictable team in top football nations.

There is a lot of hate for England. At the end of the day that team you just saw wasn't even our first team! A lot of the points mentioned still stand with our first team but if we had Terry, Cole, Lampard and Rooney not to mention some real up-and-comers such as Cleverly and Wilshere who were ALL absent, the Dutch wouldn't have looked so good - FACT. The Dutch virtually had their best squad. I guess we will have to wait until the Euro's for you to see my point. Not bad for a brand new England side with a quick REPLACEMENT manager... unlike Spain, Netherlands, France etc who have a long-term manager and a regular side...
JCENAdaBest I dont blame u for showing love for your country and team. This hate you mentioned, I agree. Lots of hate for England, in my opinion these hate are generated by lots of media hype and "arrogance" within the nation.

Yes I know that England squad was not the usual England. But could England guaranteed to avoid defeat if these old boys are playing? Ask the neutrals.

The Dutch have a reputation of playing their "friendlies" badly. Sneijder even quote even b4 the Germany game that the game was not even significant. I knew they were going to lose that one.

If a English fan can say that this England squad was not 100%, a Dutch fan can also say that his team is not giving a damn about this match.

The Dutch has often entertained and impressed during the BIG STAGES, be it winning the tourney or not.

Which team can match Brazil in terms of ball possessions in a match? Do some research, you can find that the Dutch could, and I mean not just the recent WC 2010, the WC 98 and WC 94, Holland drive Brazil to the edge, finally beating them in 2010.

Bottomline is good players or not, I dont see any England national side gelling as a team to achieve class football. (But I remembered the Alan Shearer and Sheringham's England that beat Holland 4-1)

England WC98. Beckham's sending off resulting in batty's penalty against Argentina. Bring back Glenn Hoddle, in spite of him being the politically incorrect weirdo that he was.
Robben is in a class of his own, on one of his days...

Really exciting match. I hope Robben doesn't get injured any time soon
Both Teams showed great promise for upcoming Euro. England needs better defending and they should be alright.
Robben was fantastic and Netherlands was spot on, without Van Persie

yeah i wonder if Wenger had a say in that...
Oh no lol what a finish by Robben. Impressed with this New look England even if we lost, they can be very proud of that performance
Great friendly match up with England and Netherlands. I got to see a bit of it on pvr, but Netherlands looked good Robben got nice first goal, then the header goal collision with Smalling and Huntelaar was nasty hit, there heads hit and just looked bad but it went in, then Cahill gets goal late that was kinda weak but good enough, Young in 90th ties it up with nice chip and then Robben scores a beauty curl of a goal, looking forward to Euro's!
