lol glen johnson got goal of the week? haha thats a joke, did anyone see salihovic free kick against sweden, MINT around 25-30 yards out bar and in it was twice as good

team looks good but it's a worry if england will have to count on king at the back. good strikes will just turn him in and out all the time. hope capello finds a better centre half, otherwise all the good work could count for nothing.

Possesion 66-34 and 23 shots to 8 somewhat says it all. Rather shabby performance from England, no wonder Capello wasn't happy, they played very poorly. Walcott ran all the time, but had horrible deliveries, the one thing you need from a winger. Lennon showed why he is the number 1 contestent for the spot, he was ace from the second he came on.

Great to see King on the national team again. A shame with all his injuries, 'cause he's definately the best defender in the world.

I can the objective person here. Mexico lost because of height and their lack of striking quality. Their strikers need to learn how to finish better because they had way to many opportunity...how do you miss right in front of goal? They had like three chances like that.

On the other hand. Mexico clearly dominated the match. If they had one great striker who knew how to finish this match would have been different. I almost think they would have by 3 or something. Mexico outran them and they had better pace. The only two players that and any chance in this was Lennon and Walcott because they are faster players. Crouch was lucky because he was offside and his height was great for them...

I say that both teams have a few things to work out before world cup and this was a great chance to see what it was.
