Chelsea's reserves need to understand that they will forever be in reserve unless they can prove themselves. That, they largely haven't done thus far in the opening friendlies.

To them I would say, "Step up your game! You make me worry about the state of the club in 2 or 3 years. Do better in Hamburg, much better."

great run by van aanholt. can't say im very dissapointed in this result. the youngsters did well alongside the more established players. our stars are obviously not fit though and hopefully they're be ready. i do think we should have a couple more pre-season games though to make sure that we're ready.
