Well said Amicodinessuno. Proving what africans can do. I dont get it. If Brazil had beaten Italy 1-0 with a goal like egypts not many will say it was luck. It is time people really stopped underestimating Africa as many Africans are beggining to become the very backbone of the best clubs in the world. No more it was luck because Italy could not put away their chances. The truth is if Italy could not put the ball in the net and Egypt could then Egypt was the more skilled of the night. Soccer is about goals not just chances. To conclude this was not luck it was a wonderfull job by the Egyptians.

and i would like to praise egypt goal keeper. he is just superb. if there is a award which is the best goalkeeper in this competion, egypt goalkeeper could be one of the contenders. thumbs up to u....

first of all who would disagree with me that italy are under performing as world champions. its a surprise that italy could make it to the semi finals. trust me italy had to hand back the world cup to other teams soon in the world cup as there are many other teamss who are preforming better than them like spain, england and brazil

Yeah, that goalie was doing excellent for Egypt. And Italy wasn't fortunate that game either; with a little more luck Iaquinta alone would've easily scored twice or 3 times.

I predict Spain Vs Brazil in the final with Brazil wining 2-0. Having said that, I still think that Egypt may be the biggest surprise of this event. However, I think thier defense sucks and they need to worship thier goal keeper for saving them against Italy. Spain had it all easy but group A is the real stuff with all the big teams in it.

I very much agree on those who say tht its no big deal for Italy to loose form Egypt as Egypt have already proved their calibre against Brazil and before hand winning two African Cup of Nations in a row!! infact Italy in the 2nd half played some fanatstic football tht they hardly produced in the last European cup under Donadoni and I see them improving a lot with Lippi ..all in all Italy lost to a great side tht is full of talent and heart and a real joy to watch and wht will prove my point is Italy’s coming games ..however i honestly think the best two teams in this competition are Spain followed by Egypt then Brazil and one of these 3 teams will surely win the cup yet Egypt has made this competition more interesting than I ever expected!!

I think the goal keeper had saved Egypt from a 5-1 loss. However, I think Italy is a nasty team and they play aggressively (bad way). They did not deserve to win the WC but they did because of a supid referee in thier game with Australia. Do you remember that??
I want to see Brazil crashing Italy next. I wish good luck to the under dogs. However, Go Brazil Go
