I can't believe people are saying Algeria got destroyed by Egypt.
Maybe the score says that but Algeria didn't have 11 PLAYERS on the field the whole match. In fact, Egypt only scored 1 goal with all the Algerian players on the field and it was a penalty. If you look at the first 30 minutes of the match, Algeria and Egypt were playing a close match. Not until the Algerian player got a red card did Egypt begin to dominate, which is what happens when 11 players are playing 10, no matter what team you are.

Algeria did get destroyed, dominated, and even demolished by the Egyptian team! and 1st of all, saying that Algeria was missing players, was it the Egyptian teams fault that Algerian players played rugby in the field? they deserved all of their red cards, in fact the referee should have red carded chaouchi earlier when he attacked him! pathetic sour losers, and can't admit your humiliating defeat, but that does not matter, after all EGYPT has the CUP!!! and that you can never win in the "mondeal" HAHAHAHA

A victory that left a sour taste for some people. Don`t believe me, read those 6 pages. Egypt won the African Cup...Great for you guys. Instead of celebrating they wine on how they should go to the World Cup. Why??? For the last 20 years Egypt didn`t make it to the world cup, yet they won the ACN 3 times in that span and didn`t or rarely complain as much as this week. Why? Jealousy. Honestly, Egypt beat almost every team in the African Cup going to the World Cup, I'm not Egyptian but the qualifier were pretty stupid especially the one they had to play against Algeria in Sudan.

You are perfectly, and 100% correct! Egypt is the team that was supposed to qualify. And in Sudan it was not a proper, fair, football match. It was unbelievably chaotic from the algerian fans...anyways, Egypt would have being a much better competitor in the WC but what can we do, algeria will just embarrass all the African teams with the way they play, and disqualify immediately.

For all you who think Egypt is MUCH better than Algeria, then think about this. Algeria beat Egypt 3-1 at home, and they played like they had to win. When Algeria went to Egypt, they had to lose 3-0 for Egypt to qualify so they played too defensively, which is why they lost 2-0. In Sudan, Algeria had to win to qualify and guess what, they won 1-0. This last match with Egypt doesn't prove Egypt is better than Algeria because all the goals Egypt scored were when Algeria with 1-3 men down. If you look at the first 30 minutes of the match, it was a completely even match until the red card and penalty. Egypt of course has been better through the past years but not currently. Algeria and Egypt are very close in skill today.

What is the argument here? The penalty was probably illegal you have to maintain a fluid motion by law. You can fake out the goal keeper, he clearly broke stride. It should have been retaken. However, Algeria were a man down and conceded 4 so it wasn't close there after.

Egypt have done an excellent job to win this many Africa cups. It is not a right to qualify for the world cup, it is another goal to achieve and Eygpt failed. That is just how it is. So nobody can say Eygyt DESERVE to go. Algeria DESERVE to go because they qualified.

Algeria did well to qualify for the world cup.

You fail to mention the reason why he was suspended. He was suspended for being too lenient towards Chaouchi's aggressive response and not giving him a red card right away.
