His attitude that made him "celebrate" like this after the goal is one of the reasons CR7 is so unpopular to many people. Why would you even do that?
Ronaldo goal is almost impossible. This guy must have four eyes, two eyes to watch the ball coming and the other two to watch the goalie position.
Disagree. The pass was amazing, the finish ice cold, but not that difficult to see. The only thing you need is enough technique to hit the ball correctly, which Ronaldo definitely has.
real played fair
BVB played awesome. Well deserved win. I hope they past the 1st groupstage.^, with city and real out lol
real madrid will always be on top

"real madrid will always be on top".

Cool story bro.. Dortmund ruled the "Group of Death" after all and nicely pwnd Real on the way as well.
was it the weather, was it the rain, was it stadium, was it the refs.
No man just a better team, burassia beatiful soccer, madrid cant do with teams that have good defence and good striking power.

Also KAKA should get out of there, he should get more playing time, especially if he wants to play in world cup.

looking real shaky in cl so far for us....
I'm loving Borussia and their style of play. It's all about one-touch, free-flowing football! Good luck!

Great Game by the Borussia, this team is really attractive to watch, they looklike Arsenal in a certain way: very talented and young but maybe a lack of experience and leadership in the "dead" matchs
Very bad match by Pepe
i won't comment on Ronaldo, always decisive but behaving like a child, and a children don't win Ballon d'Or
who said real madrid is unbeatable? now we see.. hehe
Plus, i can see alot of Ronaldo haters here. That chap has been constantly abused by the media, fans, managers, etc of other football clubs over the years. Get over it people. I dont see Messi being critise constantly. When Messi has a rift with David Villa, most positive remarks given. "Oh well he has the right to do so because he want the team to win". but when Ronaldo say or do something, all negative comments given. The lad cant even say he is "sad". That show how one sided is the media. Some says his attitude change from when he is with MU but imo, he is still the same. He is still show his 'emotion'. Some says he is not as good to be No 1. imo messi is the best, yes from media and votings. Ronaldo is the greatest and the most complete football player of this generation for real, hands down. Problem is he says or do something that people around him does not agree. But he is not a hipocrite. So the reason why so many people hate him, is simple. He is the best.
Really?! You don´t get why people dislike Ronaldo even though he is a fantastic football player.
He is one of the most arrogant people out there constantly unhappy when he is not in the center of attention. He is showing off any minute of his damn life.

For me this is one thing thats wrong with modern society. People are more appreciated if they are showing off and pretending to be someone rather than being themselves. He is for me representing this kind of attitude. The only thing he is interested in is how people see him. And that comes across as acting and dishonesty.

Messi on the other hand is also a fantastic football player but he is more humble and doesn´t celebrate with a douchy "calm down" attitude. He is also not claiming to be one of the best football players in interviews. He is just a joy to watch.

So in the end you see two fantastic footballers, one of them is constantly rubbing your face in him being the best and the other one is just playing for christ sake. And now you tell me which of them is more likeable.

i think u see my point there but u have argued it to ur interest. Ronaldo constantly showing off, proud, emotional, crybaby, celebrate with arrogant style, etc. I mean anything negative under the sun about this guy to be honest. Messi on the other hand is constantly humble, polite, celebrate with joy, etc whatever positive remarks for this guy. My point is does this personality make them a better player than the other? U mention the modern society hails show off character. That is for me the other way around mate. If ur argument is true, than there will be many Ronaldo lovers here, not haters. The world is actually full off hipocrites. Love the goody2. Also, u mention he is acting and dishonest. Also i think it is the other way around. He did not act humble and polite. He is good and he show it off. Thats why i said he is not a hipocrite. I said it before that by voting, Messi will take it but Ronaldo for me is more complete player and the greatest in this generation. So to answer ur question, yes Messi is more likeable, but Ronaldo is the best football player. How many football greatest that have had problem eh? Maradona with drug, Zidane with headbutt and now Ronaldo with showing off? So my question to you is this, if and i said this as a big IF, Messi start to show off or maybe even worse in later years of his career, will this make him a lesser football player? If the asnwer is yes, then i drop my gun. The best football player shall be given always to the most popular and humble footballer. Time to wake up Alices, the world is no sunshine and rainbow.
My statement was not pointing out whether or whether not Ronaldo is the best footballer in the world. That wasn't even my intention to discuss.

I have a point of view on it that I won't share, since there are way too many people speaking their mind over this unimportant issue.
I honestly wish Iniesta will take the Ballon d'Or to end discussions about this topic. But sadly I don't think people will stop debating over this.

"My point is does this personality make them a better player than the other?"
Never said that. I just pointed out that the fact people dislike Ronaldo has its roots in his behaviour. And no one, except some internet trolls, will deny his outstanding abilities.
The media I follow was criticising his childish behaviour not his performance. So again his talent is hailed.

Simple conclusion is if you want to be judged otherwise then act different.

And since Ronaldo is such a big name in football and is changing clubs for hundreds of millions of €, I feel confirmed in my opinion over modern society. Isn't his jersey one of the most selled over the world? And why, because he stands out because of his behaviourism. Exactly what I was refering to. People who criticise him here, are not a majority. Because everyone posting here is interested in football. And for most of us the sport is more important than how good some hair looks.

And the fact that its soooooooooooooooooo important for him how he is seen by everyone, makes him for me as slippery as an eel. I don't get the feeling he is himself. And therefore I find him dishonest, which is a huge thing for me in terms of likeability.

And the answer to your last question is if Messi would start with the same silly behaviour he wouldn't be a lesser player of course, but a lesser human being.
the polling above is done by real madrid haters. 95% awesome for 2 lucky goals in an away game was simply laughable. I wonder if real madrid win this match, will the rating be like 95%? i doubt it...
2 lucky goals really? So Lewandowski being forced wide of the goal by pepe and still managing to curl it into the net beautifully around the post, and Schmelzer being able to half-volley low past Casillas is considered to be pure luck? or simply pure skill? And sure there will be that minority group that will always vote awesome and rubbish for the winning and losing teams respectively without watching the game, but the majority base it off on the team's performance because quite frankly they watched the full game or at least saw the highlights. So in the end, I think the voting results are fully justified.
the build up to first goal is a mistake from real and second goal is simply a shot over many players in between, a mere slight deflection of any of those players leg will be no goal. but, you are entitle to your opinion, my interpretation of 'lucky' is different to urs i see. however, my point is not so much on the lucky goals my friend. i was in more onto the rating. Dortmund received 95% rating when real comeback with a goal when they are down plus playing away is not justifiable imo
Sure, Pepe and Casillas were at fault but Dortmund still had to capitalize on Real's mistakes and they did that with aplomb. Playing away is by no means justifiable but that's why you play 2 legs home and away against every team in the Champions League. Not playing at home has more of a psychological effect than anything else such as being intimidated by huge crowds, playing on a pitch that doesn't favor you, etc. However, if you can overcome that mental obstacle then you have an equal chance of winning as the other side. Just look at Dortmund being able to hold onto a draw at City and Real Madrid thrashing Ajax in Amsterdam.
well, let see what happen in the return leg then. But im sure, even if real madrid win with the same score line, the rating will not be as good as dortmund above. simply say, in istanbul, liverpool have comeback from 3 goals down and move on to win the final, now that is some 95% rating for me. but let say if liverpool can only score 2 goals and end up lose the match, will this make them rubbish and AC Milan 95% rating? i dont think so...
The 7 gives you away.
