Santos was horrible. I'm not at all a doom & gloom type of guy, I actually am a bit of a dreamer when it comes to my team(s) - I always hope for the best and keep hope til the last whistle. However, my oh my do we need some serious improvement in defense.

#1 - Santos has to go. As much as I like the guy's personality he does not fit in this team nor in this league. Gibbs needs a much better back-up.
#2 - We need a better defense overall. Either better players or a better system. It is unbelievable that we keep conceding from set-pieces. This zonal marking clearly does NOT work with the players we have. Either get better players that can play the zonal marking or change to man-to-man marking wtf is so complicated???
#3 - Giroud needs a back-up as well. Could Bendtner make a come-back? I don't like his character, but as a player he does have potential. However, I think we should get rid of him and Chamakh and get a younger (21-23 year old) back-up for Giroud.

Overall, we need to get rid of dead-weight and freshen up our squad a bit. I agree with Wenger that the January transfer window really sucks and it's hard to make deals since teams are looking for as much money as possible to get rid of a good player mid-season or perhaps players who are unsatisfied with where they're playing. However, this summer we need to clean up. Get rid of: Arshavin, Squilacci, Chamakh, Bendtner, Santos... not sure if I'm missing anyone else, but then we need to bring in at least 3 quality players of the same level as Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud (which were EXCELLENT signings) in order to really challenge for the league title and trophies. Enough is enough. Let's climb our way back to the top where we deserve to be!
