For your information take Messi out of Barcelona and you have Argentina, how many goals has Messi scored for them? also messi could thank xavi and inesta for 75% of his goals, for more player for player ronaldo is better he is taller, kicks with both feet,better at free kicks, gets more goals,gets paid more proved him self on more then one team, and gets more chicks haha

A very good result for a poor exhibition. No disrespect, but we played for 60 minutes against 10 men Cyprus and the team lacks... well, so many things!

For example, we have Ronaldo (good game) and Nani (terrible) as wingers, midfield with Moutinho and Meireles, side back Coentrão (for some reson Bosingwa wasn't on the team :S) and still theres no penetration!

In the end we always rely on individual performances instead of teamwork. I have no clue why people think our manager is any good...

I dont know why madrid fans feel so insecure that they have to compare Ronaldo to Messi all the time after every game...sure he had a grat game, so did Messi, Messi won two consecutive FIFA World player awards, Ronaldo won one. Messi is a great player but the fact is that he need supporting players like xavi to play at his top game. You obviously haven't seen Messi score freekicks... He is pretty good at it, but in Barcelona they already have a tactical order under which they operate consistently, and that is why there is no need to have Messi doing everything on the pitch all the time.

the two people above me are complete idiots, I don't even feel like explaining how the deflected free kicks off the goalie are only done at certain ranges and that its also a strategy. And I definitely don't have a argument for why cristiano scores better and more free kicks than messi
