I personally think the Turks are stronger now than croatia. i watched them vs germany even though they lost they played pretty well and created some good chances.

I admit we would love to get you back for 2008, but not in the playoffs. I would also prefer to avoid Turkey as that would be a bit too dramatic at this stage. But if we do meet, you guys are favourites as our team has been playing really terribly for the last couple of years (since 2008 quarter finals, that was just too traumatizing!)

Good to hear that it would be better to see each other next summer than before :-) Don't worry; you can make sure we have been playing more terribly - we lost the playoff spot to Bosnia in 2009 (we had Spain, the eventual WC winners in our group too) and this time we have been just lucky that Belgium drew against Azerbaijan in September and dropped two crucial two points.

@Adnan, we created good chances in the first half but that was it. Especially the second half was like cat-and-mouse play and we were totally dominated by the Germans. A lot of Turks still feel disappointed after that game because we just found out that we are still far far away from the league of top teams like Germany, Holland, and Spain (even though we have Hiddink as our coach).
