costa rica does not even come close to mexico. we demolished them at their home.
Dos Santos...Nice goal!!
Damn...what a bomb from Dos Santos!
swwwwweeeeeeet
franco's eyes were almost popping out!
Not a big Spurs fan and an even smaller fan of Mexico but what else does dos Santos needs to do to get into the first 11 at Tottenham. He is absolutely brilliant and Modric is injured. Harry, if you are reading this, give him a chance.
I know! Seriously!
lol i think it's up to defoe and crouch to decided lol.
Lets hope one of them gets injured.....
Lets hope spurs do united this weekend :)
btw mexico are brilliant at times... lots of talent
Im looking forward to seeing Mexico at South Africa.
Dos Santos is a nice young player.
HOW DOES FIFA ALLOW THEM TO PLAY ON THAT TERRIBLE FIELD??? IT IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE.
between mexico was playing more like a brazil team, with flair and invention something the selecao has lost a bit.
dos santos is back! love the mexican fans, they look so cool :)!
I guess Mexico found the stability, as well as some creativity in the game to become as effective as ever. Great game for Gio!
i don't like Guille Franco, but he celebrated like a maniac! i liked that!
You look similar to franco... =]
Spurs need to play Gio next weekend vs Man United, he's done too well for Mexico to not play...
Are you serious no way is he going to play over peter ctrouch or jermain defoe. He is not that good either.
Dude, gio is world class, Harry redknapp doesn't know what he has and he needs to give him a chance especially now that modric is out
The USMNT wish they had a player with his potential on their roster. Redknapp only calls up players that he likes. which is too bad, because If Gio is not world clss, then he is well on his way to be world class.
i feel like redknapp knows exactly what he has....i agree that dos santos looks like a brilliant prospect, but he isn't mature enough....rather like aaron lennon a year ago, he had all the pace in the world but couldn't put in a good cross to save his life. but dos santos is going places, and redknapp of all people would recognize talent when he sees it.
Gio just needs a bit of time, as well as more playing time. Like any other WORLD CLASS PLAYER, he needs to start playing more, even if that means leaving Spurs. I hope he could play more like he did against Costa Rica. He's got the talent, theres no doubt about that.
the kid can strike the ball, but not much else maybe with time he may pick it up. I think the spuds are the wrong team for him at the moment. and charlie the US mnt has a s**t ton of talent but Bob Bradley does not make them practice together enough and it shows with the sloppy performances lately.
I don't think Gio's play style would fit into Spurs. He'll play better on an Arsenal team
honestly his style would do alright in spain or italy.
great game by mexico.. awesome!!!!...Gio Dos Santos was amazing. mexico road to world cup.
Dos Santos!
