Hope Colombia can make it to the world cup this time.. they have the team to do it.. congratulations!

Well played by Colombia side, a very strategic game, including everything from tactics to stadium, Barranquilla it's so freaking hot n wet. i'm already thinking about the white sucks, was a very particular detail. Viva Colombia!
Maybe its just me, but Falcao seems to be one of the best finishers in the world. He puts those chances away.
Well done Colombia.
Wow!

I really like seeing this real South American futbol from Columbia. So much passion and joy. I would love to see Falcao lead Columbia back to the World Cup.

@Momez86

Yes, says a Chelsea fan. Uruguay are a strong team, even if they're facing one strong striker.
funny how we are so underestimated by Europeans. Believe me when i tell you that the guy that scored the second and third goal; Teo Gutierrez, as far as technique and class would make Hazard look like a a school boy if they were to play a match together... He is probably even better than Falcao. The reason why he is not playing in a big club in europe is cause' he is a scumbag as a person.... no team can put up with him....
In that case, I'm looking forward to seeing Columbia's showing in 2014. I honestly wasn't expecting Uruguay to go as far as they did in 2010.
@Cali86
To say that Teofilo might be better than Falcao is a bit of a stretch, but yeah, I do agree is is underrated, which is partially his own fault for not knowing how to behave like a pro player.....anyway
@TheKeeper

Uruguay is a strong team, but matches between south american teams that know each other well tend to play out more even than say teams from deferent continent. That, plus the fact that Colombia has a lineup like I haven't seen in a decade and that they are very strong playing in Barranquilla, makes it a much more even match. Trying not to be bias because I am from Colombia, I tell you I did expect Colombia to win this one. It will certainly be a different story when we play in Montevideo.
Mmm, I see then. I don't follow much South American football, so for me, it was a surprise.
It was a great game, but lets don't forget that the heat help a lot this time around, it was around 40 C when the game started, Barranquilla is a very hot place and it made the Uruguayans feel unease with the tempo of the game and the heat, but an excellent win for Colombia, let hope we can do the same Tuesday against Chile
